Sunday mornings: the smell of fresh bread, a stray string of sunlight in a cafe, the low sound of plates and cups clinking together, cobblestones underfoot, every type of flower at the market, and no plans are the best plans
I’m sure this was just a ploy by the gallery to get people to take cute pictures for social media, but it really was very relaxing and joyful to stand amongst these Noguchi Akari shades and I loved being able to walk around them so freely
The sweetest bookshop/cafe/museum in a former mill, running completely off-grid using sustainable energy in the middle of a huge woodland. Sometimes I do find moments of peacefulness in going back to where we grew up
Today is my first official day of Thesis, my last year of architecture school before I continue my learning in practice. Its terrifying but also exciting and I will be active on posting here my process and journey through Masters study.
If any of you have questions on post-graduate study or starting a masters, architecture or other. Send them through my inbox.
a couple of exciting things pictured here: first is the unexpected but lovely surprise of knowing that carlos ruiz zafón (aka one of my favorite authors ever) has a new book (!!!), and second is this beautiful leather rolled pen case that was gifted to me from @leatherneo_com 🤍
.
‘the city of mist’ is a collection of short stories that’s meant to be a tribute to readers of his ‘cemetery of forgotten books’ series.. and that includes me! 🥰 i’m so ready for more atmospheric reads by zafón. i just can’t get enough of his writing ✨
.
i’m also completely in awe of the sweet gift from @leatherneo_com. i will have a blog post featuring the pen case soon, so keep a look out for that! thank you for the timeless gift @leatherneo_com 🤍 (at Perth, Western Australia)
