I swear, Oblivion is something else. Here I am, escorting Martin and Jauffre to Cloud Ruler Temple when a wolf attacks Jauffre on his horse. Martin, before I could even blink, sends the damn wolf flying in a somersault with a frost attack before turning to me, absolutely beaming.
That would not be the last time Martin would stare at me smiling after brutally killing something on that trip. The man stared at me with an honest to Akatosh smile on his face while the horses stepped all over the bandit's corpse. It was beautiful.

Here's something from my on-the-go sketchbook. In my little Skyrim X Opposing Force au I got going on in my head, Angus Mcfife XIII is a ghost that joins Adrian on his quests while they are both stuck in Skyrim. Angus keeps Adrian in check when it comes to crime or bad actions in general (not that Adrian always listens).

Adrian does not like Miraak.

Hello. I have crawled out of my cold, dark den to offer you these.
I had a stupid thought about a possible redemption arc for Zargothrax and how Angus and company would interact with him. My brain immediately went to DBZ abridged because of course it did.

I know this more of a random thought, I feel like Angus Mcfife totally sleeps with his hammer. Like, I bet he uses it for a pillow or tucks it into bed like a child does with their stuffed animal.

Here's more for my dumb Opposing Force X Skyrim AU. Adrian's favorite weapon is Volendrung and he likes swinging the thing around like a dumbass (yes, I have him as a nord in my playthrough)

This last picture is for the 5 Gloryhammer fans out there. Let me tell you. No music makes me want to leap into absurd battles like Gloryhammer, lmao.

Stupid AU time? Stupid AU time.
So I have a stupid headcanon that Gman and his employers like to send Adrian on little "adventures" to keep his mind "fresh" while he's being detained in stasis. Think of it like walking your dog for some exercise. Usually Adrian ends up in Gmod maps (pity him) but can have (and usually does) the experience wiped from his memory afterwards. So here's my little Skyrim X Opposing Force AU.
These are rough little drawings from my on the go sketchbook.

Been procrastinating finishing and posting this piece for about a year now, so maybe posting it will give me some motivation to finish it.

It's the battle between the dragons of Draconest and The Abomination. I've mentioned them before as a part of a story/stories I've created.
Edit: Why does Tumblr destroy what little quality my phone camera can give me? Whyyyyyy?

Hadvar scared the everloving shit out of me today, even though I'm aware of his glitch post-war. So, I go straight into Whiterun after taking Windhelm, because I kinda like the glitch (it's kinda funny and I like spending time with him). I didn't know he can follow you into Dragonsreach.
Like, I just wanted to get some new spells (Farengar was asleep, so I didn't want to bother him). I leave with Hadvar coming at me with full speed and head out of Whiterun.
Sure enough, he follows me out of Whiterun, but he puts away his sword (thank God) and heads to Riverwood. I walk with him, he defends me from a thief, just two war buddies walking home at 4-5 o'clock in the morning. We hang out at the Sleeping Giant for a while before I decide to go back to Whiterun thinking that the glitch is done, since it usually only happens to me once.
The glitch was not done.
I head into Whiterun, and then THIS CREEPY BASTARD IS BREATHING DOWN MY NECK. I believe the words I said was along the lines of "JESUS FUCKING CHRST, HADVAR!". Don't get me wrong, I love this man (I wish I could marry him and curse Bethesda for not making him an option), but MY GOD. I've faced Falmer and dragon priests that didn't freak me out as much!

Note: Trigger Warning for self harm and suicide for the last two
Just going to post the next pictures in my Cry of Fear set really quickly. I'll edit it later to add my explanations for the words I chose.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hunting Rifle: Introspection. Simon has to come to grips with Sophie's rejection and his inner demons by looking within himself. This gun allows the user to see far and shoot with great accuracy, the best weapon to deal with Carcass, the festering image of emotions that Simon is trying to deny the very existence of (let alone its growth). Introspection requires a lot of work and concentration, but can be quite effective when harnessed correctly, just like the hunting rifle.
Gas Mask: Perspective. I feel this one is kinda obvious, so I'll leave my reasoning short. The gas mask allows you to see through the lens of the Doctor, no doubt an attempt by Simon to try and use Purnell's' advice in his day to day life. The gas mask lights up the dark, allowing Simon to see what he normally wouldn't. The gas mask does have the drawback of muffling out sound, since only Simon will know his emotional triggers and be more attuned to recognizing them as they attack his mind.
TW: Self Harm: Switchblade: Maladaptation. I have found that people have many reasons to why they harm themselves. I personally do it as a distraction or as a way to take out frustration on the person I think caused the situation (which I convince is myself). I suspect Simon may have a similar reason, although I know it varies from person to person. Either way, his cutting is a bad coping mechanism he has developed to try and offset his depression and anxiety, which is why it's the first weapon he uses in the beginning. The switchblade may drive the enemy back, but you will inevitably take damage. A truly weak and ineffective weapon to deal with the more powerful enemies Simon will come across.
TW: Suicide: Glock: Destruction. "...One day, Fate smiled upon the child, and so he came upon the implement of his destruction, decisions! Decisions! The outcome was not certain...". Destruction is often seen as a negative force and for good reason. Destruction, in my opinion, is more of a neutral force. Simon is on a mission to destroy and overcome any enemies that stand in his way by whatever means necessary. Simon is aggressive and on edge (*cough* edgy bitch *cough*), so destruction makes sense for him to fall back on in order to fight back. The Glock is the most common weapon in the game, and the weapon that I feel reflects the neutral and chaotic force of destruction. The Glock is your friend, the Glock is your enemy, the Glock can be turned against you using your own hand. Ultimately, Simon will shoot, stab, and hit his way to the conclusion. Whether it be his own destruction or the destruction of his depression is uncertain.

Starting a little project about the weapons and potential symbolism.
Ruger P345: Trust. I feel like this one is the most obvious out of all of them. The life of at least two fall on Simon trusting or not trusting Purnell.
Taurus Revolver: Paranoia. This is a gun that you can only get by being untrusting, choosing to take less damage and keep all powerful weapons to yourself. Purnell, as Simon wrote him, is paranoid, suspicious of Simon as well.
Sledgehammer: Confrontation. Simon has to smash through the wall to get to the truth, even if he doesn't realize it yet. The Sledgehammer is powerful, able to tackle his demons head on. The Sledgehammer appears again in Kirkville, Simon is ready to confront anything in his way of getting home, the Sledgehammer appears one more time in the hands of your foe, one final confrontation to decide Simon's fate.

When you do walk into a room and everyone is looking at you.
This is more of a vent piece for my scaredy-cat ass. People's eyes, they scare me.
I am also sick. Snot fun, lol

Last, but not least, Cross.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cross represents the need for self love, and has a body build closer to David. Cross is infatuated with David to the point of obsession, which David finds creepy and overbearing (yeah, I'm laying the symbolism strong on this one).
Cross can handle all 4 categories of weapons and is the only one capable of wielding the spear and infinite ammo rifle.
Cross is the leader of the team and is actually pretty chill in personality except when it comes to David (Cross is very lovey dovey, which reflects a part of David that David has been suppressing for years. Unfortunately for David, Cross goes past comfortable boundaries and needs to be put in his place).
I say Cross and the others are male because that's David's gender in my headcanon, they are apart of David's mind. The assistors are whatever gender David identifies as.
I will add more to these post at a later time, just because I have to get ready to go to work in a few minutes.
