The midfielders Liverpool should try to sign this summer
Jürgen Klopp will hope to invest in the transfer market to replenish his ageing midfield. Who should Liverpool buy?
It’s no secret that Jude Bellingham is Liverpool’s number 1 target this offseason. Yet that would require FSG to splash out 100m+ and we all know that they might be priced out of that. Ben McAleer of WhoScored examines some other options for The Guardian.
I’m personally absolutely sold on Kokcu, who Liverpool should be buying regardless of Jude or not. I think the squad really needs 3 new midfielders, and Kokcu and Jude could roam together as floating 8′s. They would still need a 6 behind them though, and that's why Liverpool should target Manuel Ugarte from Sporting. The kid is a monster in midfield and would put out the counter attacks that Liverpool have been so susceptible to this season.
