Updated Post:

I feel like I haven’t been on here in so long & I haven’t posted any updates.  Here’s the update.   Liam’s Uncle is in the military, so he has been home for leave since Last Wednesday, so we have been cramming in as much family time as we can.  Hs leave is up tomorrow, though, so I will be back to posting regularly on Monday, most likely.  Don’t worry, there will be more exciting Mom Life posts!

When your child is old enough to sit up & play in the bathtub, take a small clothes basket and put him in it in the tub. It keeps the water draining, but keeps his toys contained.

Christmas at the zoo, Riverbanks Zoo, Columbia, SC 12-24-18: This is a very cool experience. if you’re local to the South Carolina or even Charlotte, Matthews, etc area from NC, going to see the lights at the zoo for Christmas is definitely well worth the trip. Especially to go with your family or significant other. I was pregnant at the time & was sick constantly, but I loved going here. I can’t wait to go back in a couple of months. At first, I really didn’t want to go, but then I decided to give it a shot. I went with M, his mom & dad. We had a great time. M & I got hot chocolate & got to see & pet the animals while seeing the most beautiful Christmas lights.

~ The Gatlinburg Trip 3-6-19:  Our second time stopping somewhere off the map. Another one of the many beautiful, hidden & remote spots in the park. That’ 3 waterfalls one on top of another. I’ve never seen one waterfall, let alone 3 up until this point. Even though I was almost always sick during this trip because I was pregnant, I still enjoyed stopping at these places so much. It was like going to a magical land & stopping at these spots off the map make that feel even more so. It’s difficult to put into words and to try to justify with pictures how beautiful this place genuinely is.

~ The Gatlinburg Trip, 3-5-19.  There are numerous spots to stop at along the way in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. So many places to sit and watch the water flow or listen to the animals making noise. It’s a very peaceful & serene area. We stopped almost every day at this same exact spot. It was my favorite spot that we found by ourselves besides the waterfall that we found after our trip to Laurel falls. Oddly enough, there’s a small set of stairs that leads to this little stream, but they’re mainly covered with dirt and grass, so you can’t tell it’s there unless you’re exploring. Still so much to explore in the park.

Early mornings;

Just sitting around, cleaning up the house & just taking a moment to stop & think... I really am one of the luckiest girls there is. I have such a good man. I don’t have to question or second guess him. He’s always honest with me. He loves me for who I am and has no desire to change me. He just wants me to be happy & he always looks out for my best interest. M is the best thing to ever happen to me & I know I gloat about him a lot, but he just makes my whole world such a better place. I’ve never been so in love with someone as I am with him.
