You're posting again!! This is random but can I have mafia Noctis who's girlfriend just found out he's criminal royalty? Anything is appreciated!
Hello lovely! Yeah! I'm slowly trying to get back into the swing of things! It's been a long time. (And a hell of a couple years.)
This isn't too big, just a quick but I hope it suits what you're looking for!
Mafia Noct and (y/n) girlfriend bit coming right up!
If it's liked, I'll write more of this one. Who knows?
(Please bare with me, I'm getting back into the swing of things!)
"You're the fucking Mafia..??" She couldn't hold back from blurting that out.
Who could blame her? This was information that tended to be something one would tell their significant other. Normally at the start of the relationship.
"Yup." God, did she want to punch that stupid handsome face right now.
"And you couldn't have...told me in the beginning?"
"Would you believe me if I said I had been nervous to tell you?" Noctis said with a soft tone, his eyes softening as he gently took her hand in his own.
(y/n) didn't twitch a cheek as she stared down the smartass she's been dating for two years, not impressed in the slightest.
The royal brat didn't even look guilty as his face went back to his default bored expression, though with a pout to fit the occasion, leaning back and crossing his arms.
"Alright, alright," he sighed and looked away. "The truth is that I... was so used telling you everything without naming names, that I completely forgot that you didn't actually know." He looked innocently at her.
"But I remembered now, and doesn't that mean anything?"
"Ignis reminded you didn't him." (y/n) bluntly called out, eyebrow twitching when Noct nodded without shame.
"He knew you would kick my ass if I didn't tell you."He confidently says, face blank for all 10 seconds before grinning impishly as he dodged his girlfriend's swipe.
Bastard knew her far too well.
"Oh my god, I can't believe I chose to sleep with the likes of you!" He must have used some charm magic to trick her.
"Yup, the royal goods can have a habit of blinding people with the beauty." He said, buffing his nails against his shirt, not even looking up as he dodged another swipe.
Cheeky brat!
"You...are insufferable!"
"But you love me." He said angelically, earning a snort from his girlfriend.
"The only thing I feel is regret for meeting you." He scooted his chair close to hers, wrapping an arm over her shoulder, pulling her into an one armed hug.
"And I regret not picking on you more." He poked her nose, smiling as she lightly blushed in response.
"You pick on me now!"
"Cause you have the best reactions to my teasing."
"Your teasing involves property damage." She threw back bluntly.
Which when she thought about it, really helped with the whole 'mafia' thing. How did he clean up his antics so fast?
"And you love it." He said smoothly, nuzzling her cheek with his own.
"Not when it involves avoiding the police!" She groaned, unable to keep the smile from appearing on her face.
"All jokes aside (y/n), I know I should have told you, and I shouldn't have waited so long." He kissed her cheek gently, " I'm sorry." He says, genuine sincerity in his voice.
She grumbled, leaning her head against his shoulder and pouting.
"Ugh, the things I do for you." He placed a gentle kiss on the top of her head.
"You adore me and you know it."

Random bit for CMC au! (Hello folks! Reblog and enjoy!)
Gladio (and Ava) gets some attention here.
---
He was an Amicitia.
A bloodline as old as the royal line. He was honored to train for his duties to the crown.
But even he had his limits.
Because what's a kid meant to do in a situation like this?
Leave it to the adults?
There are no adults.
'Deep breaths.' He thinks, focusing on relaxing his muscles with each push up.
Up, down.
Not even the oldest of them where close to being adults yet.
Up, down.
This wasn't something any of them were prepared for. Because, honest, what could have prepared them for this?
Up. Down.
He and a few others who trained with him before all of this, they were willing to protect the last royal in the city.
But he didn't know how long they would stay loyal.
Yeah they say they'll protect their prince (their king now, this city is his, even if he's far too young for this responsibility.)
But how long till they get other ideas?
How long until they decide that oh, maybe THEY can do better than a little kid?
After all they were older, they were trained to handle stuff like this. But they weren't.
Up. Down.
They could easily take over instead of a royal kid who doesn't like talking to strangers. Just because no one is an adult here, doesn't mean there aren't enemies.
If they ever thought like that, he would have to take care of them.
He wouldn't kill them. No matter how angry he could ever be, Noct would never order someone's death. Especially a KID's death. (He wasn't like grownups, with their heads filled with their stupid grudges and blood-feuds. Noctis would never let a kid be punished for not knowing any better.)
Noct wouldn't enjoy having to punish any kid. But he (all of them, so very quickly) learned that a leader needed to be as strict as they were kind.
Because chaos came about when people where given free range without rules or guidelines.
Up. Down.
And Gladio could only shudder in horror in the safety of his room as he recalled the people who were vocal about their opinions of immigrants and the poorer class. The young heirs that turned their noses at the sight of those they consider 'lesser.'
The stories of abuse, discrimination, and neglect. His dad had said that there was nothing they would do, that if they focused everything on those things, nothing would ever stabilize.
He could only feel relief that those people weren't stuck in here with them. He didn't want to even contemplate what things would have been like had those people been stuck here with the rest of them. He could only feel shameful relief that the Crystal chose only kids.
He never thought he would experience what it was like to go hungry. Or how cold winter nights became at the peak of winter.
The relief when they were given the confirmation that, no, they wouldn't run out of food and water. That everyone will have enough to fill their bellies.
He could still remember that first winter, all the perishables had spoiled and they hadn't known what to do. He would never deny the tears he had shed when he had eaten delicious cooked meat for the first time in over a year. To think that this is what people had to deal with beyond the crown city's walls. How could adults let these things happen? Because of war of all things?
Up. . . Down.
How was Iris? His precious baby sister. It's been a few years. How big was she now? Does she have new friends? How was dad? Cor? And the king? He hoped they were all okay.
Up. . .
. . .
Gladio sighed and lowered himself back to the ground, just laying there and gathering his thoughts, looking at his hands.
...his wrists were thinner.
Not by much, (praise the Crystal for small mercies) and it's not like he couldn't pick up his heavy swords.
But he can tell that his wrists are thinner.
If he looked in a mirror, (when was the last time he bothered to focus on something as silly as his appearance?) he would absolutely see bags under his eyes.
He barely ever left the citadel territory. (He ignores the ringing echoes of screams and chaos, from that first year coursing through his mind.)
If he wasn't on guard rotation, assisting (making sure that damn Drusus girl doesn't sneak another smoke bomb anywhere) or keeping up with his training, he was following Noctis, protecting him.
It scared him to look at his prince (king) and see a thin and fragile child.
He wasn't weak by any means. (Gladio was both proud and ashamed by how Noctis took his training, as a leader and as a fighter, more seriously. Because this wasn't how things were meant to go.)
But compared to him, the prince was one wrong breeze away from collapsing and Iris wasn't here for Gladio to worry over and the prince was already barely dealing with the events in Tenebre and now he had to rule a city of kids that either didn't want to listen, or wanted his title as king-
He sighed harshly and rubbed his head.
And none of them (those who could be trusted without a doubt) knew when their childish desires would grow into more malicious intents.
So they had to be ready. He had to be ready.
He was the chosen king's shield. He had to be strong enough to protect his king when he couldn't protect himself.
But he had to protect the younger kids too
Kids who were Iris' age younger than him.
Some kids were young enough that they would never know a life different from this.
He had to protect them too. But he was a kid too. (Loath as he was to admit it.)
They were all kids.
And if he was feeling like this, how was Ignis? Or Prompto?
Or Noctis? He was supposed to rule this chaos? How, by the six, is he handling this?
"Delicately, and with assistance." "Shit!"
He jolted so badly that he bit his tongue.
"A-Ava..." The young heiress blinked slowly at him.
"Noctis is as scared as the rest of us." She continued, as if she hadn't snuck up on him.
"He just keeps a brave face when in front of us." Gladio stared up at her, looking back down with a scoff.
"I'm not surprised, it's all we ever do to keep the peace." He moved to sit up, Ava walking over and sitting down next to him.
"The kiddos like how you guys seem confident that things will get better." She says, looking at him. "They are excited to see the things we will do. We're all they have." Gladio let's out a soft snort.
"That's high expectations." Ava was looked down for a moment.
"They barely remember their parents." Gladio was silent.
She picked at her sleeve as she continued, "They remember their 'Big brothers and sisters' more than their actual siblings or parents. And the longer this goes on, the more their memories will replaced by new ones." She frowned and sniffled delicately.
"When the time ever comes that we get out of this city, they won't remember their old families at all. This city is our world. That's why Noctis doesn't show how sad or scared he is when he's out and about. He knows not just them, but we need to see him strong. We need our leader to stay strong because if he isn't, what can we do?" She looks at the young shield, eyes calmly looking into his.
"And if we looked to him, who does he look to for strength?" He tensed, trying to look away but unable to escape her gaze until she looked back down.
"I don't know what being a shield is like back when things were normal. But I do know what being a shield is like when things are like this."
"Oh..." he asked distantly, "and what's being a shield like here?"
"Exactly this." She motions a hand to him, to his confusion.
"A shield worries for his king, and worries for his people. A shield trains and grows stronger for both. " She sighed and placed her hands on her lap.
"The old rules about shields are obsolete now." She says simply. "What rules matter are the ones you and Noctis decide." She looks back at him, this time more relaxed.
"Don't over complicate it like grown ups do, that's the reason Noctis said the Crystal threw them out remember?" How could he forget? Finding out that the reason this all happened was because adults couldn't stop hurting others.
What type of world did their parents want to leave them if a sentient rock decided to kick them out and hide away the kids?
"A messy one, when you think about it." She answered him again, causing him to sigh in exasperated amusement.
"I need to stop doing that." She shrugged.
"You're stressed, it's alright." She stood up with those words, patting her skirt clean and holding a hand out for him to grab.
"You can relax better when you're surrounded by people you trust." She smiled softly. "Plus I think you'll feel better if our king was close by."
Gladio chuckled, not denying her point.
Three years have gone by and it still feels so recent. Like nothing had changed from that first year. Yet everything was so different.
Maybe looking at things through a new perspective might help. Because Ava was right, there might come a time when the city will reconnect with the outside world. What would be waiting out there for them??
Because the adults won't hesitate to ruin the people they would make here. They needed to be ready.
As a shield, he must stay strong for both king and people. It's something that he takes pride in. Something that has helped him through these three years.
But as Gladiolus, he'll stay strong for Noctis.
Because the person holding the shield needs a reason to stay strong too.

Just something small to see if I can be vague while keeping the flow.
---
“And now what?” Gladio wondered. “What is your plan?”
“Plan?” Noctis echoed, eyebrow raised. “What plan? I don’t have a plan. And it’s not like I’m gonna trick the guy, he’s pretty decent.”
“The guy who killed Lady Lunafreya’s mom and your dad is decent?” Prompto asked incredulously, slushy now completely forgotten.
Noctis shrugged, “Seems to be.”
“I highly doubt that General Glauca is decent.” Gladiolus grumbled.
“Y’all never met the guy so…”
Prompto threw his arms out, “We HAVE. That’s the problem!”
Ignis sighed, fixing his glasses more out of stress and habit than a real need. “Noct, stop visiting the man who helped destroy the crown city. You’re going to raise my blood pressure.” He paused. “Or Gladio’s to be more exact.”
“Hey!”
“That sounds dangerous.” Prompto mentioned, looking down and pouting at his ruined slushy.
“Don’t worry bout me,” Noct assured. “I have this completely under my control. Besides, the guy gives me free food—why would I pass up that opportunity.”
Gladiolus sighed once more, “You’re talking to that traitor for free food?”
“Yup.”
“For free food?” Noctis nodded and sipped his drink.
“Yup.” Gladio just sighed.
“Why am I not surprised?”

Just an small snippet. Couldn't seem to find anything else to add and I'll just leave it incomplete.
Mafia au maybe? I'll leave it to you guys to figure out the events that lead to this point.
(Noct gets into shenanigans I swear)
---
Anton had a one job. Take out the prince.
Hired by someone who paid good money. Very good money. It must have someone very high up.
The prince infamous for his erratic behavior. Being uncontrollable.
Never with his guards, always wandering off alone.
This wasn't how it was meant to go.
It should have been a simple hit. It should have been easy.
It was a spoiled prince, that's all he should have been.
So why...
Why was he here, on the ground. His legs broken, his body bleeding? His last gun by the princes feet. Why was the target standing above him?i
Why was he looking at him like that? Why couldn’t he wipe that smile off his face?!
"Not how I expected to end my night." The target said, his tone casual, as if this was another day for him.
"Not how you expected to end tonight either huh?"
“That-“ He pointed at the gun. “-was the last bullet in that gun.”
He slowly blinked, seeming to not register what the prince was saying.
“...in the vicinity, most likely. “
He made a low noise.
“It’s honestly rather funny in a way.” Noctis tapped his chin. Looking thoughtful.
“Because you decided killing me was more important than saving yourself. You are fated to be die slowly. And painfully at that.”
“....”
“I wish I could do something to help you. But this is the decision you made. “ his face still so serene. As if he was not dooming another person to a horrific fate.
“So..." he bowed for a moment before straightening up. "...Sorry.” He took a step back. Never breaking eye contact with him.
Anton's tongue felt so heavy in his mouth.
“Goodbye stranger.” His voice so genuine. “May you pass quickly. “ And then he turned away from the broken man.
And the door closed shut.
It took a moment before he reacted. But his mind was still taking time to come to terms.
‘No.’
He began crawling. Despite his condition, despite the agony. he crawled on pure bone and open nerves. His broken arms doing their best and more at pulling him forward.
He tried to find the outline of the door. Why couldn’t he see it?
He tried to feel for the edges. It’s there. It’s there. He just needed to find it.
He struck it. Trying to find a weak spot, hoping someone could hear him.
“No. “
He struck it. Trying to find a weak spot, hoping someone could hear him.
No...no no no... he didn't realize as his voice rose, pained moans turning into hysterical cries.
He struck it. Trying to find a weak spot, hoping someone could hear him.
NonononononononoNOnoNOnONononoNO-!!! No one could hear him from here. Why did he choose this location? Why? Everyone is-
He struck it-
This entire place is-
- Noctis -
It was night by the time he existed the building. Heading towards his car. Getting his friends’ attention with hands in his pocket and a tune on his lips.
Ignis and Prompto were at attention. waiting for a the results of his search.
“How was it?” Prompto asked, his eyes scanning his friend's body, searching for any injuries.
Noctis shrugged.
“Guy wasn’t there. “ Ignis rose an eyebrow at the simple response.
“Is that so? I had been informed this was the place....” he pulled his phone out and started to go through his files. Noctis couldn’t help the amused huff leaving his lips.
“Well no point in lingering.” He shifted his gaze to Prompto. Knowing he was done inspecting him.
“This place will be completely abandoned in a couple of hours right?”
Prompto pulled out his own phone in response. Pulling up the report Iris had sent him earlier.
“In about 6 hours and 32 minutes, yes.” Noctis nodded as he took this information in. He turned his eyes back to the building and a smile of humor spread across his face.
“Noct?” He turned back to Prompto and shook his head. Smile remaining.
“Let’s return to the hotel. I’m feeling peckish. Gladio is gonna wonder where I am and Dad said he wanted me to call him later.” The two nodding and made their way to the car.
“Wait.” Prompto stopped suddenly, just as they reached the car.
Noctis looked at him lazily.
“Hm?” He furrowed his eyebrows. Focusing on something.
“Do you hear something?”
Ignis immediately scanned the area, trying to locate the sound.
Noctis hummed and gave a leisure glance around before turning on his heel and reaching for the car’s backseat door.
“Does it really matter?” He sat down and stretched. Getting comfy for the ride back.
He patted the seats in front of him. “Time to go.”
Ignis and Prompto gave a glance both to each other and to the direction where the sound seemed to be coming from before they went and took their places in the car.
The ride back was quiet but it was not unwanted. Each lost in their own thoughts.
“...Work is booming.” A faint smile on Noct’s face appeared.
“Of course. And all the more reason to be on our toes.”
“Noct...”
“Hm?” He could taste the unease pouring off Ignis. already aware of what she wanted to ask.
“May... I inquire as to what you did within that building...?” Noct looked at him through the review mirror, smiling.
“No, you may not.” His tone was casual. Not spoken too quickly or too slowly. Just answering his question.
But the warning hidden within his words were understood immediately.
Ignis merely nodded and did not push anymore.
The ride was then silent once more. The hum of the car lulling everyone into a relaxed state.
“...Work is really booming Noct...” Prompto said again. His meaning understood by the two.
They were gaining attention.
Noctis nodded.
“Indeed it is.” Ignis looked back at Noctis.
“Report?” Noctis nodded again.
“Of course.”
And just like that, They tossed away the last two hours as if they were nothing but insignificant seconds.
And the days passed.
The area above the district was soon completely abandoned and closed off.
Life moved on. And nothing changed for them
Still.
Many would later notice a new habit of Noctis’, of him staring up at that building.
No one ever realizing that they were always finding him in the midst of smiling as he recalled the screams that followed him out the door.

Whoa...
It's been a long time...
Hope everyone's doing well!
Was looking through my old posts and I guess it brought me nostalgia from the old joy of writing for this fandom.
I dunno if anyone wants me to start this blog back up again but if anyone does, just like this post and message me.

Prompt:
VIP Person A, who is innocently forgetful, gets lost during a busy day in the downtown. Bumps into VIP Persona B, Who is their enemy but both Persona A and B don't know that.
So they strike up an intense friendship of chaos, sleeping, and deadly sarcasm.
No one is prepared.

(This would fit Ravus and Noctis. Or Aranea and Prompto.)

Soo (and I'm might just be spitballing here) but I think your noctis has an..unhealthy passion for killing?? ??
Prompto: Noct, you kill people, that's kinda illegal.
Noctis: I'm not killing people
Noctis: I'm a reverse necromancer.
Prompto: Isn't that just killing people?
Noctis: Ah, technicality.
(what makes you say that anon)

When Noctis decides being dead is boring:
Noctis: What’s up guys? I’m back.
Prompto: What the- you can’t be here. You’re dead. We literally saw your dead body.
Noctis: Death is a social construct and the mortal plane is private property that I can leave and enter whenever I want.
