Today my body was needing a rest. I could have taken a rest day but I felt like it needed some movement so I did a yoga workout. 🧘‍♀️ I really focused on stretching my body out, especially my legs since they took a beating the last couple workouts. Hoping to see some relief today! 
Has anyone been incorporating stretching into their day? At the end of today's workout, we did the "Good Morning Stretch" that I showed you this week and a few other ones that I love. I even did a few extra ones for example, the neck stretch I showed you just to get in a little bit more. Here I'm showing you a spine stretch that always feels great to me!

Sunday I did a shoulder day but we did some pretty amazing HIIT moves as well in that workout. So my legs were sore when I woke up yesterday. Needless to say yesterday's workout was...you guessed it! Legs!!! 🙄
But I did it anyway and all day yesterday I was walking around like I was 190 years old! I really didn't know if I would be able to do my cardio workout today or if I would need to opt out for yoga or a complete rest day. (I looked and it had been 12 days since my last one.) So I decided to wait and see what this morning brought.
I was still sore but i decided to throw on my yoga pants, stretch out a bit and then see. I really wanted to stay on track with my schedule. Once I stretched out, I was feeling a little bit more flexible so I decided to go ahead and get my cardio in.
It was tough but I did it! It's all about doing what you think is best for you each and every day. Tomorrow is another day. Who knows what my body will be telling me! If it tells me to do something lighter or to sit out a day, I will! No shame! Because it's all part of the process of me getting closer to my goals! <3

I modified the first round by bending the lower leg. Second round I challenged myself. It was hard when I did it on the right shoulder but I pushed myself and finished the rounds!

Today was Yoga Balance! Wow, was that challenging! But I need it!
If I fall, I want to be able to get back up!
If I stumble, I want to catch myself!
If I walk, I want to run!
The only way for this to happen is to challenge myself and do the things that I know I need to work on. If you're not messing up are you even trying?

Today was T20W2D11 Powerful!
Tips from today's workout!
💪Try the regular move first. If you can't do the regular move, modify. If you can't modify, modify the modifier! There's always an easier way to do something until you get stronger to make it more intense. But always try the harder version first. You might surprise yourself! As long as I've been doing workouts, I still have to modify sometimes, but I always try the move first and see if I can push out a few reps before having to modify. The next time I might be able to do a few more. With T20, sometimes I just have to step the move instead of jump. And sometimes I have to take the actual Transform Step out of the move and just do it on the floor. 
💪If you're not understanding a move, don't just stand there. Do something similar. The important thing is to JUST KEEP MOVING!
💪When doing moves on each side, for example mountain climbers, I make sure I don't quit without getting an even number on both sides. Sometimes this can make me push out more reps than I normally would.
💪Keep transforming yourself! Always remember our bodies can do more than what our minds think we can! Go slower if you have to to keep proper form and avoid injuries. As you learn the move, you'll go faster over time. Either way, your body is still getting a workout in and slowly changing right before your eyes! Be proud of yourself every time you do a workout!

Today was T20W2D10 Stronger!!! 
Here are my numbers for my Transformers! 
Notice that the first two are not a huge jump in the numbers. In fact, I was only able to do one more rep of the 2nd Transformer! But that's okay! I went into this with the mindset to increase those numbers and I did!!! 
No matter what you do in your workout, if you know that you've left it all on the floor, then you've pushed yourself! 
And sometimes just getting out of bed and completing a workout no matter how well we do in it is an achievement in itself!!! 
There are some people who are not even able to get out of bed! So when you do your workout today, think of those people who would love to be doing what you're doing and make the most of it! 
Put a smile on your face that you're able to get out of bed, dress yourself, feed yourself, go to work, exercise, eat healthy, spend time with your loved ones because there are so many people in this world who would do anything to be in your place! 
We all have our struggles, some more than others, but there is always someone who is worse off than the person in here who is struggling the most. No matter what our situations are, know that we are all blessed! If nothing else, we have each other!

Today was Back and Biceps!!! 💪
I ❤️ arm day even though I can't lift my arms to wash my hair afterwards! Right at the warmup I was still feeling sore from yesterday's workout. But I have learned that many times going ahead and doing my workout stretches that soreness out and helps me way more than sitting out a day. 
I pushed it a little with the weights but tried not to let my ego get in the way. I even used the reflection off my tv to make sure I had proper form just in case! 😉
Probably be feeling it later today but I've taken my postworkout and I've got my tiger balm and epsom salt ready if needed!

Today was Chest and Triceps! I don't know about you but I need help with my triceps! So every time I do a move, I focus on the body part it's working so I can get more out of it. If I feel like I can do a couple more reps of a move, I bump up my weight the next time! Sometimes I have to go back down to keep proper form or maybe my arms are just burned out by then but I try to never let my ego get in the way when lifting weights. The main thing when lifting weights is be patient with your progress! ;)

Today was T20W2D9 Faster!
I'll be honest...
I felt like a turtle in today's workout 🐢.
I modified A LOT by taking the step out of the move. 😫
I took more breaks than usual. 🥵
BUT...
I showed up!!! 😁
I finished it!!! 👏
I increased my numbers!!! 💪
And I'm super excited that tomorrow is Yoga Day!!! 🧘‍♀️
Focus on the positive! Love yourself! You are worth it!!!

Today started Week 2 of Transform 20! Love, not only how these workouts are only 20 minutes and you’ve got Shaun T as your coach, but how you can track your transformations in these workouts! 
This first set of numbers is Week 1, Day 1! One the first move I was only able to do 60 reps in Week 1 but by Week 2, I able to bump it up to 98 reps AND go the entire time (ROOT = run out of time)! 
I was able to double the reps in the second and third move! (oes = on each side) While I wasn’t able to go the full time on the last 2 moves this week, I’m still proud of those numbers and that shows I still have room for improvement! I’m also hoping to be quicker next week and up that first number! 
Just goes to show you that if you show up every day and you’re consistent with your workouts, you are building your body to be stronger every single time you workout!
