Ranpo as LawLight´s love child

(Please, don´t take this too serious, it´s only for fun (and boredom). Think about this like a kind of Au, probably a notKira!Au)

Why them?

Well, in one of the BSD´s light novels, it was stipulated that Ranpo´s parents were geniuses, both of them. His father worked solving cases with the police, and his mother was capable of beating her husband in his work. They died when Ranpo was little.

A couple of genius detectives, both of them death. Mmm, let me think for a moment. Yeah, this sounded a lot like: LAWLIGHT.

Now in the next paragraphs I will explain some points of my theory.

1) Hair

Color theory 101. Black + Light Brown = could give you: Dark Brown.

Also L´s messy hair + Light´s PERFECT® hair = Ranpo´s hair, with kind of messy bangs well defined.

2) Food liking

L and Ranpo share their liking for sweets.

But this point doesn´t end here, because we know that Ranpo enjoys eating another kind of food like snacks (Movie) and pizza (S02EP12). Probably he likes potato chips with a little sweet flavor, and remember, what kind of chips Light prefers? Yes, BBQ potato chips. A lot of BBQ potato chips have a light sweet flavor. Whit this I´m not saying that Light has a fascination/obsession with potato chips (this is more like a headcanon from the fandom). 

3) Sitting

L´s famous way of sitting is a classic. Ranpo doesn´t sit like L, but he is one of the members of the ADA that sits in “so comfortable” ways, not the more ethical for work.

4) Personality

From L, Ranpo got the non-filter to say what he is thinking, more with people that “annoys” them with their lack of intelligence. But of course they don´t say those things in a mean/cruel/pure evil way, both L and Ranpo have other perception of the society functions, for example Light thinks very high of his intelligence, he insults others but in his mind, because he knows more about social constructions and the "importance" of how the others see you.

Now, talking about Light´s ego, Ranpo has his own. Remember, how in the first episodes Light thought about him like the chosen one and the “God of the new world”. Ranpo is always pointing how he´s the best detective and that his ability is the best of the best. As well, both of them have a lot of people always feeding their egos, like Light´s parents or Ranpo´s co-workers.

5)  Deduction Support

The reason for L sitting in his particular way is because “Sitting like this increase my deduction abilities in a 40%”. Ranpo “needs” his glasses to activate his “Ultra-deduction”.

In both cases, these two have conditioned their deduction abilities to a thing or a particular action.

6) Height and Eyes

Let´s be honest and let´s be realistic (kind of), not all the children look like a copy-paste of their parents, this is something that fics have taught us and is not 100% correct, genetic doesn’t work this way. Some kids can look more like their grandparents or uncles.

First, let´s talk about the height. Both L and Light are 1.79cm tall *, Ranpo´s height is 168cm. The difference is 11 cm. For his age, Ranpo (26) is a lot shorter in comparison with L and Light (19-25). Light´s father is taller than his son (1.81 cm), and we don´t know L´s parents, neither L´s or Light´s grandparents. And for the height topic, I will choose Light´s mother's family ´cause Sachiko has the average Japanese female´s height, and probably her family too. With that Ranpo´s height fits better in the family tree.

*In the official character sheet L´s height is marked as an estimation.

Second, the eyes. As in the height explanation, Ranpo could have inherited his green eyes from his grandparents or from another family member/ancestor. In this case I will incline my theory with L`s family.  Tsugumi Ohba has said "I think of him (L) as a quarter Japanese, a quarter English, a quarter Russian, a quarter French or Italian, like that”, with this information, we could say that L has a high percentage of European/Caucasian heritage, green eyes included.

7) Bonus: The history repeats itself

The cherry on the top in this theory is that like Light, Ranpo got himself a goth/emo-look alike-boyfriend. And as Light and L, Ranpo and Poe share similar interest. Because, don´t forget that Poe is a detective (and writer) too.

“Cursed” love song

What I´ve been looking for is totally a fix-it geraskier song. Like, I can picture the  “medieval” version of this song* sounding in Geralt´s mind whenever the witcher felts guilty of the words he said to the bard back in the mountain. It is a totally (well deserve) torment for Geralt. He even listens to it in his sleep. The only way to get rid of, it is by apologizing to Jaskier.

*Yes, the voice in his mind is like Jaskier´s. It is a real spell? Maybe, who knows.

Erasermight Kindergarten Teachers Au! 3

-Shinso used to go to another kindergarten, but with his family problems (criminal father now in jail) and the bullying from his classmates, his mother changed him to another school, and she choosed this kindergarten because of Aizawa, they are neighbors. She asked Aizawa about the place he works, money is not a problem and she wanted a good environment for her son.

-At first it was difficult for him to adapt to the classroom, but as the days go by he started to open to the others, especially with the calmest kids (and with his teachers, specially Aizawa). 

-It was a Thursday when Aizawa´s shift was ending, and Shinso´s mother hasn´t arrived, he waited with him until kindergarten closed. The school contacted her, who was out of town solving some work´s problems and she can´t return yet.  She was so sorry and asked Aizawa if he can bring Shinso (Shinso`s) home. Aizawa accepted, but Shinso will be at his home because he can´t leave a child alone.

-Next day Toshinori was started his shift when he saw Aizawa and Shinso at the door. Aizawa told Toshinori about what happened. When was time to change shift Aizawa asked Toshinori if he can call Shinso´s mother, but he couldn't find her, any of the times he tried, same occurred with Aizawa and with the school staff. The day ended and Shinso had to go Aizawa´s home again, but this time Toshinori waited for them with a pizza in order to cheer Shinso and accompany them.

-Saturday came and Shinso´s mother didn`t appear. Shinso started to feel ill. That night Toshinori went to Aizawa’s place to informed him that the police were now investigating, he stayed to dinner (Aizawa invited him). Shinso was so quiet, with the face completely red, he had a high fever. Aizawa´s house was far for a hospital, he didn´t have a car, and Toshinori came by subway. Toshinori called for a cab, but unfortunately, an accident had occurred (villian attack in town) and traffic will be impossible.

-At the moment Aizawa started to panic Toshinori grabbed/softly squish his hand, “All will be fine” he said, after that he transformed to All Might´s form. Aizawa can`t believe what is happening in front of his dry eyes, he had so many questions but he fast understands Toshinor´s plan.

-Aizawa put a quilt over Shinso´s body and grabbed him, after that the two adults and the kid rushed to the roof. Aizawa was ready to pass the kid to the retired hero, but to his surprise, All Might carried him (with the kid in arms) bridal style.  They arrived to the hospital in 8 minutes. Probably the best way to use his last 10 minutes, thought Toshinori once he returned to his original form.

-A doctor revised Shinso, gave him some medicines and sent them home. Toshinori and Aizawa spent the rest of the weekend taking care of Shinso, who was feeling better on Monday´s morning. Aizawa took the day off in the UA (Mic was kind enough to covered his classes). At midday Aizawa went to the kindergarten while Toshinori went to his home to take care of the boy.

-Shinso was happy, that was the first time he felt the “family love”, “the domestic feeling”, “being really cared for”. His mother feeds him, sends him to school, buys him toys and stuff, but she really never cared for him. No smiles, no hugs, no homemade chicken soup, no panic in her eyes when he was sick.

-And what happened with Toshinori and Aizawa? Well after the hospital incident, Toshinori had to explain everything to Aizawa, for his surprise the other teacher took it very well.

Aizawa had admired Toshinori for a while, for his way to deal with the kids, always with a genuine smile and with a lot of care and love in his words, always searching and learning things to make the kids happy and to teaches them as well, or the way he played along with this little (flowers, candies, cookies) pranks of the kids. Probably that was the reason Aizawa didn´t say anything to the kids about that “topic”. If he has to be honest, he loved Toshinori´s smile, his blonde hair and those blue-blue eyes. The height difference is killing him.

Toshinori in other hand thought how cool Aizawa is, not only with the kids but in general, they had talked about his UA`s classes and his underground heroics activities too. Oh man, he loved the way Aizawa put his hair in a bun and the little scar on his cheek. The height difference is killing him. 

But the thing that made them fall for the other was those days they spent with Shinso, all the domestic vibes and how well the managed with all of this.

-After a couple of days the police discovered that Shinso´s mother was also a criminal like her husband. Aizawa couldn’t believe it, those two bastards only had broken Shinso´s heart. Shinso didn't have more family, for that he needed to be sent to an orphanage.

-Toshinori and Aizawa felt very bad for the poor boy, he was so nice and sweet (in his own kind of way), and with that kind of background it will be difficult to him to find a caring good home. One day the two teachers listened Shinso talking with Midoriya about waiting to find a family like Toshinori and Aizawa and at that moment both of them decided to help the boy. They will adopt the boy. It´s an illogical and hurried idea but thinking about that, if they say that to the police the case will get slower, and Shinso probably will continue to attend the kindergarten, but for achieving that they need to be married.

-They talked about that. All Might´s lawyers and connections will help with all the legal part. They can get married, had Shinso as their child and after a year divorce. Or they can get married, had Shinso as their child, make it work all of this and live a happy life the three of them, Toshinori thought. They got married with only two witnesses.

 -The legal looked like a torture, but with All Might´s lawyers the procedure wasn’t so hard. That was the first (and last) time Toshinori occupied All Might´s image in order to achieve something, but screw his moral compass, that was for a good cause.

-During all the Shinso´s case Toshinori and Aizawa got to know better, they discovered amazing things of the other and when the case was over, winning Shinso´s custody they were so in love that they kissed in the court.

 -Shinso was so happy with his new family and his parents were too.

-Class A was a little disappointed, because the only step of the plan they didn´t do was the one that put their teachers together. Yes, kids. But one day Shinso told them that Aizawa had keep it all the cards, the flowers and even the candy-ring´s wrap in a little box, and at that moment Class A thought that was the best plan ever, even better than cake.

Erasermight Kindergarten Teachers Au! 2

-Class A totally love his two teachers, they were so cool. Teacher Toshinori was very kind and always had an All Might´s adventure to tell them Teacher Aizawa at first looked very scary, but they discovered that he had a soft heart, he was a little strict, but he knew the correct words to stop fights or to stop crying. His quirk worked a lot with kids like Bakugo or Ochako.    

-Toshinori wrote a letter as All Might for Bakugo, in the letter he explained that bullying is a villain thing and if he wants to become a great hero he needs to start acting like one.

-Aizawa brought cat´s stickers one day.

-The kids knew the teachers were single, and one day after a movie day in school with Toshinori (yes, they saw a Disney movie with a happy ever after ending) they started to thought that their teachers as cool as they are, they need to find a special someone and be happy, specially teacher Toshinori that somedays looks a little sad.

-Next day Kirishima came to class with a new: “Yesterday I saw a couple of two boys, a couple like kissing, I asked my mommy and she said that love came in many forms. I was thinking all night that instead of findings a girlfriend for each one of our teachers, why not we make those two boyfriends?”. Class A loved the idea, after all teacher Aizawa looked comfortable and happy with Toshinori and vice versa.

-Class A want to them to be together, but they don’t know a big thing about romance and the books they have of love only talk about princess and princes, they don´t think neither of their teachers is royalty. That´s why asked their parents about the things they do to win over their loved ones.

a) Flowers: At first, they thought about everyone brought one flower to made a bouquet, but Iida said that “Teacher Aizawa`s comes after midday, by then the flowers will be awful, and we can´t put in water if we want to keep it secret.”

Momo had the idea to make it with paper. She asked teacher Toshinori if he can teach them to make paper flowers, and the next they (after a huge research) they made a lot of many colors and forms. Kirishima and Mina collected all the flowers that Toshinori made as examples, joining them with a ribbon, and they asked the teacher if Aizawa can have it. When Aizawa arrived he was received with the bouquet and with “Teacher Toshinori made this for you”.

b) Poetry: they left a cute card in Aizawa´s desk. The card has the drawing of a black cat in a big red heart, inside the words “you are better than cake” writing with black crayon, because they think is Aizawa´s favorite color. Of course they signed with Toshinori´s (no kanjis) name and they had been extremely careful with don´t color out the line. This happened a three more times, always with the drawing of a cat.

c) Romantic dinner meal: they put in one of the playground tables Momo´s pink blanket and a plate with all of the cookies, the ones they kept from the lunch. However, because it`s a fancy meal they also set two grape juice boxes (as wine). The chairs were so small for the two of them.

d) Serenate: this probably was the most difficult. First, they asked teacher Toshinori if he knows how to play an instrument and, he answered that he used to play guitar and ukulele in school. Two days later, Jiro brought to class her little ukulele, class A hide it until class was about to end. After Toshinori closed the book he was reading to the kids Jiro asked the teacher if he can play to them some songs with the ukulele. Toshinori was very happy with the request.

The first songs were the typical kid`s ballads that they sing every day, then the kids started to ask another type of songs, like Toshinori´s favorite song when he was young or that famous song of the tv. Finally, when Shouji sensed teacher Aizawa`s arrival (and gives the signal to the others), they asked Toshinori to play the most romantic and cheesy song he knows. After a few seconds that the song started, Tsuyu opened the door and whispered Aizawa to came into the room. When Aizawa was in, the only thing he can saw was Toshinori playing the ukulele and singing with a soft voice a song in English. A shame he can`t understand the language.

e) Ring: Candy rings was the answer. Sato was the only one with a lot of candies in his house (the perks of his quirk) for that he was the key for this part of the plan.  One Friday, Sato came to class with a bag of candies to share with the others. In the bag was the same amount of students this class has, plus two more candies for their teachers. When Toshinori´s class was over and Aizawa was waiting outside of the classroom, Sato started to share the candies, at last, the only two that left over was two ring candies. One for Toshinori, who accepted it with a smile, and one for Aizawa who was a little suspicious.

At first, Aizawa wanted to keep it for later, but kid`s pouting made him open the candy, the same with Toshinori. “They match” said one of the kids, “Like my mommy and daddy” said other. 

f) Kids: They can`t make nothing with this. But…

-One day a new kid arrived, he looked shy and sad. He name was Hitoshi Shinso.

Erasermight Kindergarten Teachers Au!

-All Might had defeated (for real) All for One in an epic battle, but the damage in his body was so much that he stayed for two months in the hospital. He lost part of his lung, stomach and 99% of his powers, now he can only transform for 15 minutes, because of that he retired off the heroic scene. Now as Toshinori Yagi, All Might´s secretary, he only has to deal with his merchandise stuff, donations, charity, and some administrative stuff.

-One day, when he was reading the news on the internet he found a very interesting note. “Because of All Might´s retirement many kids were very sad, asking their parents and teachers about where´s the ex-number one hero and if he is ok, the parents are preoccupied.…”. This made him think about how the little ones perceived the retirement of a hero, and he felt bad for not had thought in this (them) before.

-With that on mind, Toshinori started to talk with a lot people in order to find a solution. After a week Toshinori had many little illustrated book (that he writes). In resume, the book explains that All Might is not an active hero any more, but there are a lot of amazing heroes that will protect them, and if they want to ask something to All Might he`ll always receive letters.

-Toshinori and his staff started to distribute the book in many schools and the kids accepted very well. Sometimes Toshinori went to library’s events to read the book, not as All Might but as his secretary. One day he was invited to read the book in a kindergarten. The kindergarten was very huge, with a lot of kids. The school handles two shifts, for all parents who work late.

-One little boy with green hair sat in front, with his big bright eyes and his face with a lot of freckles, listening to every word Toshinori said. Probably an All Might`s fan, Toshinori thought. In the end, this little boy came to Toshinori with a letter to All Might, thanking the hero for all those years, many kids did the same. He was so touched with the gesture that he stayed a little more telling the kids stories about All Might, the kids were very happy.

-After that day Toshinori decided to become a teacher in this school, as a way to keep helping. He got capacitation to can be a teacher, of course, many of the things he learned in UA and his experience all those years as a hero helped a lot. When a new year started he get his own class, the almost big kids of the kindergarten. The green hair boy´s class. Class A.

-Aizawa after expelled many of his students, he thought about quitting, but with All Might`s retirement he gave his teaching job the last chance.

-One day, Mic pranked him, he signs up Aizawa to one-week volunteering in a kindergarten. Aizawa was so pissed, but the kindergarten’s staff was already counting on him to help them with the “special week activities”. For the surprise of everybody, even himself, Aizawa enjoyed those days. His quirk was very suited for taking care of kids with zero control over their quirks. The last day he received a job offer.

-He thought a lot about this: Many of these kids one day will apply to UA or another heroes school. Not only the hero society but all need to comprehend about the responsibility of quirks and what a hero is. These kids need a little guide, and why not, these kids had a better behavior than the ones of the UA. Or at least that’s why he told himself every day.

-After a lot of thinking and a good chat with Nezu, he accepted the offer, but only as the afternoon teacher. He continued teaching in UA but with less classes and only in the morning.

-That´s how Toshinori and Aizawa became kindergarten teachers for the same class. Aizawa didn`t know Toshinori´s identity.

The story about how Class 1-A know about All Might´s crush on Aizawa, the one that, apparently, is in love with some blonde skeleton dude.

- This happens before Kamino´s incident, that’s why a lot of people (aka. Class 1-A) don’t know about All Might´s true identity.

-But what they DO know is about the huge crush All Might has on Teacher Aizawa. The way the blond hero looks (when he thinks nobody is watching) Aizawa, so fond, full of admiration and love, let nothing to the imagination of the students.  And of course, Mina and the rest (kinda) want to help All Might. “Hey, Teacher Aizawa needs a little of sunshine in his life and All Might deserves all the happiness in the world” says Harakuge.

-Kirishima was totally into: “They´ll be the powerful and strongest couple of all times”.

-Todoroki didn´t say much, either participated openly with the plans, but he supports All Might being happy with the one he loves.

-Bakugo probably is the one that didn’t participate in all of this.

- At first Iida was against getting involved in the personal life of his teachers, but eventually, he was swept along by the good intentions of his peers. Something similar happened to Momo, Shouji, and Tokoyami.

-Class 1-A always have some nice words to said about All Might during Aizawa´s classes, like the way he gives today class or the perfect fit of the costume around All Might´s muscles. “His hair is so cool, so… blond and always challenging gravity laws”. Sometimes they just comment on random things but always saying All Might´s name loud, to be heard by Aizawa. That was Plan A: see how Aizawa reacts. If they notice nonconformity coming from Aizawa, the plan gets automatically suspended, but for their good or bad luck, Aizawa didn´t react at little.

-After not having results, Class 1-A decided to use plan B. Make the two teachers pass more time together, and for that, the students get turns to ask about assignments in order to delay the classes and make them be in the same room.

-Plan B failed as well.

-Plan C was a NO-NO. Iida, Momo, and Tsuyu said that was a bad idea. Making Aizawa jealous by mentioning all the gossip in the magazines that involves heroines and All Might articles (all of them shenanigans of the media) will only make things worse if the erasure hero has already feeling for the No.1.

- But one day (a day off to be more specific) Mina, Jiro, Kamari, and Kirishima were hanging up in the middle of the town when they saw Aizawa with a stranger. If they think about it, that shouldn't have surprised them, but the way Aizawa looks so comfortable, happy and so in love. And they can say that was love because that was the same looking All Might has for Aizawa. Upps!

-This stranger was Toshinori, in his “shorter” form. And yes, they are already dating. After the USJ incident, they started to hang out more frequently, and one thing got to another. Of course, they didn´t want to make their relation a gossip, and for that, they keep it secret and professionally. And being honest Aizawa didn’t want to explain why sometimes he is having a “romantic” dinner with a blonde skeleton man.

- Mina sent a message to the group chat with the new information and a photo. On Monday the class have separated opinions, some of them wanted Aizawa and All Might to be together, but the others wanted to respect whatever Aizawa and that stranger have.

-Todoroki, despite his admiration for All Might, knew that if Aizawa already has a special someone in his life, there was no more to do. Because wanting a person to be with someone they don't love is not the right thing to do, he knows well.

-Aizawa, that in this moment was outside the classroom listen all the conversation that the Class 1-A was holding.

-Aizawa was conscious of what his students were doing for the past weeks, at first he only overlooked it, (yes) all the comments about All Might were annoying, but that's the price of secrets relationships. But right now the things are increasing, and the kids involved Toshinori too. Aizawa at this point wants to come inside the classroom and tell the class that his love life and All Might´s in not of them concern, but knowing his students they will continue with all of this one way or another. He and Toshinori need to put an end for all of this, and for Aizawa´s misfortune, his boyfriend has a plan. Not the best, not the more logical, but a 75% effective plan.

-The same day after All Might´s class, he talked with them. He thanked his student for their concern and support, but they need to stop, because he accepted his defeat. Yes, All Might confessed having a little crush on Aizawa, “He´s a great man, cute and bla bla,bla”…but he can´t reciprocate his feeling because Aizawa has someone in his heart and isn´t he. “But is ok, I´m a grown man and I wasn’t even so deep in love…all I want is he being happy”

-All Might felt a little bad about the white lie, but deep in him, he knows that he isn´t lying because he is aware that Shouta loves him, not for his impressive muscles, the fame or whatever the media see in him. Shota loves Toshinori not “All Might”.

-Next day, Class 1-A apologized with their homeroom teacher, and of course, they showed their support toward that blonde stranger. Aizawa was relived, and a little afraid of what his students will do now. To his surprise they do nothing, they even not asked a single question.  One day he overheard a conversation between some boys after classes, something about how happy he looks thanks for the blonde stranger, how it would be better for him to behave and don´t make Teacher Aizawa cry. He´s a little embarrassed d and a little touched.

-After Kamino´s incident the true identity of All Might was exposed. At first, they felt like All Might had put a good show back then with all of the: “I accept my defeat…”, but after seeing Aizawa and Toshinori get along for a couple of days, they came to the realization: All Might wasn´t lying.  All Might knew that he has no chance, not with Toshinori in the picture.

-The best part about this: Midoriya, knowing (all the time and incapable to said it) about All Might and Toshinori being the same person has to suffer all of his classmate´s bright ideas.
