One time I was explaining to my dad how unfair it is that every big city has at least a couple gay bars but there are only like 20ish lesbian bars left in the country and he responded with "That's cause gay men have a good party culture. Saw a Youtube comment in which someone was grateful to the Youtuber for saying "unalive" because it supposedly avoids triggering people. Have these boring TikTok euphemisms become so pervasive that people have lost track of where they come from? No, it's not about consideration for people with PTSD, it's censorship.
