I used to be the person that never spoke a word in class 🥺. But it wasn’t just the classroom, it was a habit I took with me everywhere... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ————— 𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 ————— Silence meant that no one would have anything to hold against me. However, 2019 pointed me towards the reality that even meekness would create negative attention. When I finally challenged the status quo, the criticisms and stories illustrated to attack my growth were some of the most hurtful experiences of my life. But it was these trials that inspired me to write even more 🙏🏼, especially if it meant bringing forth some kind of positive change and influence. I continued on, with my long-winded captions. 7000 followers later, here we are. I really have you all to thank for helping me discover my confidence. We’re only getting started though!
