Bring your weasels to work day! I had a long shift at the shelter and decided to bring my babies with me. Of course they ended up sleeping most of the time, little dorks.
Another vet trip for my babies. Loki was finally able to get his chordoma removed and everyone is up to date on shots and have their deslorelin implants!! Loki's doing awesome and they did a super clean job plus he hasn't fussed with it at all, I couldn't be happier. ❤️ Eska is getting her tail fur back at a much quicker rate this time too. I’ve missed her excited little fluff so much. ; o;
Poor Loki got so used to lifting his tail up from the weight of the growth that he looks like he has a little matchstick shooting up now from the part they needed to shave. LOL He’s regained so much of his balance and he’s not sliding his back legs around nearly as much as he used to. It’s so nice to see him be his bouncy self much easier again.
I’m so glad I was able to get them the care they need. I was considering making a YouCaring page for the longest time but felt too ashamed to. The job scene has been rough for a multitude of reasons but I was able to land two jobs a week apart from each other during the Christmas season and pay for everything myself. Things are looking up in every regard and I’m so happy we can all start moving forward towards a better life together.
Olaf’s been warming up to me quite a bit! I’ve been making an effort to take them out during my shifts since no one else really seems to. He’s been following me around more and they both get excited to come out when I start rustling around in their cage. It’s so nice to hear their happy dooks!
