“Fox,” Jon says quietly. “You need to rest.”

“I can’t,” Fox bites out, but there is no ferocity or anger in his words. Instead, he sounds gutted, resigned, and it makes Jon ache. 

“Let me help you,” Jon offers, and it comes out almost a plea.

So I'm really enjoying the fic How To Care For Your Corries by screamhoney and some of the more recent updates have given glimpses into how Quinlan/Fox got together in that verse, via them explaining it to other people?
