Hard to believe it was 7 years ago today since the release of Power Rangers. It feels like yesterday that I was sooo excited seeing this on the big screen. I held out hope for as long as possible for a sequel because it really deserved one. The chemistry of the cast was so good and the film is severely underappreciated in my eyes. ❤️🩷🖤💙💛

I haven't been very active in the fandom for the past few years, and I haven't been following any of the cast on socials either. I don't keep up with any of them and honestly have no interest. Everything I learn about them atp is against my will. Even the reboot cast, although at least so far, they seem to be normal. Mind you, I'm not trying to throw shade at all the actors/actresses; I'm just saying idc enough about them to check in.

That being said, ASJ in particular has just been one letdown after another, and I'm not talking about petty shipping stuff. It's disappointing and unfortunate, also because when I think of the characters, I usually envision the actors, esp the MMPR cast. Even Amy's new comic uses the casts' likeness. So in that sense, I don't think I can ever separate the actors from the characters in my mind. Those are just their faces. However, personality-wise, they're completely different. And thank God for that.
