Hi, I have no one to share this with but I really like how you handle the occult in your story. What do you think of this vlad origin pleaseee. Okay so vlad was actually a corrupt jacoban priest in the medieval era. The village people had enough and the rebellion was led by a woman I call Theodosia(she's an immortal witch, hehe). He was burnt at the stake (hehe). But theodosia who felt pity and feeling lonely that everyone around her was dying, gave him her blood to drink, turning vlad into some kind of immortal spellcaster. Vlad and theodosia would go on to live together and for a while things were good. Until vlad became even worse than when he was human. Theodosia feeling betrayed cursed vlad with an eternal thirst that only her blood can quench and a weakness to sunlight. vlad is now a creature of the night who walks the earth drinking the blood of any he can find to quench his eternal thirst. Of course, some die but the ones who survive now bare the same curse of eternal thirst for theodosia's blood. This is the origin of what we now call vampirism today.
