Silent Communication
When one thinks of communication, it's usually talking face to face, over the phone, a text, or even a letter; but there is a dialog that exceeds words, it goes deeper than any verbal response. It's a heart to heart, face to face with the one who truly knows your heart more than you. He's the lover of your soul and you are his beloved. I sit in silent awe of his beauty and his fascination over us. I could never use words for this. Words cheapen the encounter. And I will never get over the King's love for me, only a Shulamite. I am dark from the days of the desert sun, yet you call us lovely.

It's okay
Dear young people, It’s okay not to know what you want to do. It’s okay that you don’t want to go to college. You’re going to be fine and you’re doing great. Go learn new things, go new places, meet new people. It’s all going to be fine because you can always go back and change what you want to do. Change your mind alot! Be a future scientist one day then a writer the next! Don’t listen to the voices around you that say you have to do something practical to get somewhere in life. And you don’t even have a traditional education to do something in this world. Teach yourself what you want to learn. Buy the math books if you love math, buy the physics of star trek book if you just want to learn, and just write something and have someone check it for you. You can do this. I know you can. I believe in you! -Love, someone on the journey

I Have This Hope
“I have this hope in the depth of my soul. Through the flood and the fire, you are with me and you won’t let go.”
-Tenth Avenue North
This hope that we have is not normal. It’s not the hope where you say “I hope I make it through this.” It’s a peculiar hope. A hope that says anything can happen. The captive will be set free, the sick will be healed, and the dead will live again. It’s not the hope that says “yeah, I know, I hope so but I’m not expecting anything.” Our hope says “I know and it’s going to be great!”
While I breathe, I hope.
