Journalist Hossam Shabat reports on an IOF advance in Beit Hanoun. Instagram user mydxbstyle provided a full English translation:

The Occupation vehicles have penetrated the city of Beit Hanoun and laid siege to a number of shelters in this area. The Occupation has fired live ammunition on the homes in this area and the shelter itself. We informed the citizens in this shelter that they're completely surrounded. They tried to leave this area but the Occupation army did not let them and fired directly at them. Even till this moment we are uncertain if they made it as the Internet and phone lines have been cut off in this area. The situation in the city of Beit Hanoun is very dangerous after the Occupation army had penetrated it and fired directly at the citizens. We are in contact with these trapped citizens but due to the Internet outage we cannot reach them!

Palestinians aren’t micro-celebrities, by the way. They aren’t Brad Pitt or Beyoncé or any other celebrity you routinely follow the daily lives of; they’re regular people who’re going through something unimaginable, who’re barely able to grieve the deaths of their families because they’re too busy spoon-feeding y’all information you couldn’t be assed to research yourselves.

Saying you’re a fan of someone who mainly posts about the deaths of their friends, families, and loved ones just confirms how you guys see the plight of black and brown people as entertainment to cheer on. It’s disgusting, have some fucking shame and humility.
