The Cutchogue Diner
To recognize the 11th anniversary of me buying Betsy on April 29th, 2012, I finished the painting of her that I had been working on bit by bit since last fall. In September of 2013 I took my road test in Betsy and got my license on the first try. We stopped at this exact diner and parked right there. She has had a couple of hiatus in terms of being road worthy but is currently chugging along just fine at 58 years old.

“The Road to Twilight Town”…Sarah’s 1968 Chevelle. Such a gorgeous original car. Rare to see a 4 door Chevelle in this day and age.

Our book, The Curious Puffer, is finally in print! There are a few local scenes such as the diner scene, which was inspired by our local historic landmark, The Cutchogue Diner!! Upon completion of the book, we went there for lunch and took this photo of the book with the vintage diner counter in the background.
The Curious Puffer was written by my mom, Claire Kennedy. Illustrated by me.
