This is a masterpost for the evacuation fundraisers I've vetted so far, a few other fundraisers I find trustworthy but have not been able to vet (inability to communicate with the organizer), and a few semi-completed fundraisers or fundraisers for a different purpose (like house rebuilding, or aid distribution). The numbers next to the names have no significance beyond ease of navigation for me for when I check their progress in the future. You should look at the disclaimers instead and focus on those. Occasionally I will update these with new info, including new fundraisers, and the amount of cash that's been raised. Check in regularly on the original post when you see it being reblogged. In all likelihood once its reached you it's already outdated. Also please don't overlook the Sustainable Aid options near the bottom! The brain drain is already creating problems but having another way of keeping or creating new knowledge and key members of a functioning society is important. Latest update: 16/04/2024.

Kitty cat! A cat portrait study using both regular water based brush markers and acrylic markers. Ref from unsplash. I've really been enjoying the workflow of doing most of the work with the water based markers, then going in with acrylics to correct some values and add some detail with a semi opaque medium. Similar to finishing a watercolor piece with gouache or colored pencil.

letstalkpalestine has set up a LinkTree that prioritizes different fundraisers for people in Gaza and rotates out fundraisers once campaigns are complete. There are so many worthy causes worth donating to and it can be difficult to keep track of them all, so this is a great resource.

Operation Olive Branch has created a Google Drive of different GoFundMe campaigns to support. All campaigns have been vetted. They're also encouraging people to go to the social media pages of family members responsible for the different campaigns and amplify their voices, which is an extremely important step that I've found tends to be left out. Donating is great, but doing everything we can to boost Gazans' stories and spread awareness is crucial.

Traditional art dump with some lambeosaurines! Lambeosaurus, Corythosaurus, Lambeosaurus (without any kind of ref for the last one lol). First is oil pastel, mostly Mungyo gallery pastels, Second two are cheap acrylic paint pens, thought the second includes some regular marker for tinting. These were fun! I think my digital painting workflow translates intuitively to opaque traditional media.

Edit: Lambeosaurines, not lambeosaurs. You get the idea.

Mother and son, you can tell one of these portraits I tried a lot harder on lol. Redcrest and Divingstrike, a Pondclan elder and warrior. Both are based on different species of Merganser. I'm honestly quite proud of both of these designs. You can read more about them on their Toyhouses, but they aren't very fleshed out yet.

Redcrest is a proud old cat with high expectations of herself and others, and not very outwardly affectionate though she loves all her kits and grandkits. She is quick to offer dissent and advice, even if she isn't asked, though her age and experience makes her viewpoint valuable.

Divingstrike is cold and critical, but loyal. Only his siblings and mother seem to be able to easily get along with him because they don't take his bristly personality as seriously as other cats.

Oksoko doodle I ended up liking and experimenting with :) This was fun. Very playful and low stakes. Was looking at photos of turkeys, muscovy ducks, and other lumpy faced birds earlier and it inspired this.
