on May 3rd I turned 23 and then on May 5th I had a great night selling my art at the local Arthop!!! Today is May 8th and I'm chilling at home and trying to slow down a bit- my psychiatrist thinks I'm keeping myself busy to avoid being alone with myself- he's right! So I've decided it's time for me to reconnect with myself.

i haven't blogged in awhile but i got a roomba for $15 at a yard sale on saturday and it WORKS perfectly FINE!!!!

that same morning we went to the park right before and helped some baby geese that were stuck in the wrong side of the park fence. i'm racking up that good karma!

also my birthday is tomorrow. I'll be 23!

i sold 3 of my original fresno nightcrawler paintings yesterday! it was sour milk's one year anniversary for hosting a vendor fair on the 3rd sunday of every month. I always love selling my art at this location. I do a lot of networking and always come home with something cool!

Our trip to the renaissance faire was really fun! I'd been to a few in my life but this was Kishawn's first time and he said he really enjoyed it! There was quite a bit of entertainment; dancing, side-shows, FIRE dancing, and a fully armored fight club. Some guy was getting a beat down and the top of his axe came flying off! It was a lot of fun. Most people were in costume and looked really good. Someone had a chainsaw gauntlet! All around really cool costumes. I got my first pair of elf ears while walking around and kishawn got a neat knife (not pictured here). On the way home we pulled off the highway to check out a tourist trap/"farm" and got a nice bottle of wine!

these past three days have been very nice! it was a pleasure vending for @sourmilkshopfresno 's monthly vendor fair! I always have a great time and enjoy interacting with the other artists and vendors that come out for the day. I had some KILLER white coffee via @thedrizzlecafe - check them out please! I can't believe how good my Strawberry Cheesecake drink was. ☆彡(((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))🧋

Yesterday we took a trip to @raginrecordsfresno and I FINALLY got two MCR records!! I haven't opened them yet but I'm very excited too. Afterwards, we took a short walk around downtown a bit- I totally forgot a lot of places are closed on Monday around the Tower District! After we were done with our walk we then took a quick trip to the mall where I found some cute Inuyasha merch and bought my first anime stand ever 😭😂.

I used to buy anime merch on ebay with what little money I could save up and put on a greendot™️ card back in 2011-2012 when I was 12 & 13 years old. I remember I had a full metal alchemist pocket watch and a deathnote necklace that was also a watch (but i never got it working). I don't know why I stopped buying anime stuff- probably because Adventure Time eventually took over as being my main special interest (ᵔᴥᵔ)- that and I started spending all my extra money on cool socks and tights for like, most of my teenage existence (and a lot of my current existence). (*ﾟ▽ﾟ*) Anyway, the Inuyasha stand is in my room and it's totally giving me serotonin boosts when I look at it. I've been working on some Inuyasha fan merch in my free time.

Today I'm filling orders for my website and shipping them out this week! Check out cryptidz.org via @cryptidzclub to get your authentic Theyduh™️ merch. I'm working on some new Fresno Nightcrawler fliers to post around town and advertise the Cryptidz vibe. I can't wait to share it with everyone!!

My bee sting that I got on Saturday STILL ITCHES. It's looking better though.

Right now I have to order groceries and then after that Kishawn and I plan to have a nice bike ride through the neighborhood! 🚴🏽🚴🏿💨❤️

On Sunday nina came over and taught us how to make sushi which was really nice because on Thursday of last week we had to humanely euthanize our very old pit bull Athena. She had stopped eating and couldn't walk very far anymore. Someone came to the house and we watched everything. It was kind of unnerving to watch her die. That same day I had class and later an arthop event and sold quite a few art pieces. It was a very weird day emotionally. I feel like i've processed her death. We're down to one dog in the house now. I wish I had taken more pictures of her but she was camera shy.

I'm currently sitting in an AT&T store because Uncle Norm was mislead by an AT&T salesman and to make a long story short we are returning new cellphones and it's an entire mess of a situation but luckily we're letting the people who are paid to deal with this handle it. While sitting here I just felt like blogging, I guess. I've got quite a lot planned for this upcoming month that I'd like to write about. This month I have a vendor fair I get to participate in again. The Van Ness Village Vendor Fair hosted by a local art store called Sour Milk. It's really fun and a lot of people come out! This was me at the art hop earlier last week. (Art hops are the first Thursday of every month).

I'm still sitting in the AT&T store- customer service is a special kind of Hell. It's like purgatory with dashes of Hell. Even the AT&T store manager here says she hates customer service and was getting visibility frustrated with the people who kept "helping" us by transferring our calls from department to department.

I'm home and the come down from this natural high is too real!! I already miss my dear siblings. This has been a weekend I will never forget; I needed this more than I realized 🥺🥰💖💗.

I also very much enjoyed our little visit to The Getty museum. 🖼🏰 Seeing an original Van Gogh piece in person was very elating!! I was especially surprised to find it was the very painting that he did while beginning his healing process after a mental break. It really spoke to me as I'm sure it speaks to many people struggling with mental illness on a daily basis. The timing of everything that occurred just felt right. I love knowing I can put my trust in myself and in the universe because when I do I keep receiving blessings all around me in the forms of healthy relationships, good times, and stability in all forms. ♡╰( ^ω^ )╯♡

Thank you to @jenna_madden_ & @npcmode for helping me feel safe, loved, and SEEN (and not just this weekend but for the many years we've shared together)!!! Screaming and dancing as adults to the very same songs that got us through high school in one piece was a spiritually healing experience! 😩✨

Now I get to unpack, snack, & scrapbook!! I'm so excited to get the film in our disposable camera developed!! ( ◠‿◠ )(^○^)!!!! 📸🎞

Day one of me and @/npcmode's trip to see @/jenna_madden_ !! My beautiful siblings lay sleeping in the hotel bed as I type this...(๑>◡<๑) Last night (and this early morning) was an experience I'll carry with me forever. Big Thanks to Nina for taking the wheel (literally) and driving us out to see our amazing friend 4 lyfe Jenna!!

٩(^‿^)۶ We spent the whole day farting💨 around after eating some amazing ramen.♡🍜 Finally getting to go to the @mokuyobithreads store here in Los Angeles and exploring the cutest parts of Little Tokyo felt so recharging & refreshing. I got a LOT of compliments on my adventure time outfit!! I'm so glad I wore it- can you believe I almost changed out of it before the trip? Always Kill Your Doubts!!!! I'm so glad I kept it on and represented the best cartoon of all time. I haven't been out on a big adventure with my close friends in so long-! Did I spend a bit too much at Daiso Japan? Maybe. Will I do it again later today? The chances are extremely high, yes...!

Today I'm really excited because we are going to do some more shopping (my wallet is crying many, many tears but my Collection of Things™️ growing in size means so much to me. I've got so many Gudetama and Sanrio stickers - I may have went a bit over board. Our Daiso Japan haul- OMG. I got so much more clay crafting things that are Hello Kitty & My Melody themed!! I'm very excited to make things with them. Nina found TEETH shaped erasers and it's so funny because they make these amazing ashtrays with a creepy & cool vibe and they spend their time creating all these realistic teeth out of CLAY!! It's just so funny that out of everything on that giant wall of erasers Nina of course gravitated towards the erasers shaped like pearly whites. Yesterday & night has been so fun & exciting. I'm desperately trying to think of synonyms for the fun feelings excitement we all shared!! I was elated, energized, ecstatic, and extremely grateful to be out with my two close friends that make me feel safe and understood anytime we get together. Life is so short and having people that have your back is a gift I'll forever cherish. And the night before we went out we all drew our tarot cards from my deck and I think it's such a funny coincidence I pulled the Three of Swords due to my iconic necklace that I made hanging around my neck the whole trip so far and the fact I brought three mini swords for each of us to have as a little reminder of this weekend. ♡ Thank you universe for speaking back to me when I need it most & always keeping me safe. ☆

today my friend nina came over and helped me pull weeds in my garden before they had to go to work and it was so much fun getting to talk. it even sprinkled on us a few times while we were outside and it NEVER rains here so that was a nice surprise. We also saw one little ladybug flying around!!! Later on today I had an eye appointment for getting new contacts and the doctor was super respectful of my pronouns and even complimented the button i wear on my mask that says "they/them" so people are aware.

when i got home i called my dad and we talked for hours, even while I was getting dinner started! while cooking dinner with my boyfriend my uncle brought in the mail and OMG!! my brother wrote me a letter for valentine's day and drew me these little rick and morty drawings and it made my entire night 💗💗🥺🥺🥺💗💗💗 i also got a valentines card from an awesome friend i met here on twitter and UGH MY HEART IS SO FULL💗💗💗😭😭💗💗💗💗💗😭😭💖💖💞

i've just had a really great day today and it definitely feels a bit magical since 2/22/22 will only come around once in a lifetime!

yesterday was so nice! my friend nina came over and we got to catch up for a few hours and make chocolates together! I'm really glad we got to meet up since we hadn't seen one another since Halloween. We got to share some of the art we've been working on together and honestly has some nice healing and cathartic conversations. Being an adult is so hard but it's easier when you've got great friends!
