September 9th.

I have been living at the beach for the last month and in about a week and a half I'll be moving to Baltimore to serve with Volunteer Maryland at Baltimore City Recreation and Parks Department as their volunteer coordinator. My focus with this position will be on outdoor recreation. So 1. WHAT. 2. LOCAL GOVERNMENT. 3. Uhhhhh I guess I'm Leslie knope? 4. WHAT EVEN IS MY LIFE RIGHT NOW. I can't wait for training and to move down there. 11 more days.

A couple hours ago I finally graduated from NCCC. my team has been through a lot, especially the last few weeks, but I am proud to say we made it. I board my flight back to NJ tonight and I can't wait to see the Atlantic.

These are most of the campers that have been in my cabins this round (minus three campers who I didn't get pictures with). This has been a crazy crazy round and an even crazier year.

After a week of an amazing transition including sushi, mass drinking, and 5K running we are headed to Santa Cruz on Tuesday to serve at camp Harmon where we will be doing construction for a week and being camp counselors the remaining 5 weeks. Camp Harmon is a camp for children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. This will hands down be the most challenging round yet, but I am excited to learn all that I can.

Hiking at silver wood doing some trail maintenance on Wednesday and doing irrigation with LRPC for most of the week. Irrigation is pretty sweet. So is hiking one of the mountains being able to see out to the coast. Awesome week, aside from 90+ degree weather everyday causing me to drink about 3 gallons of water every hour.. That's healthy, right?

LOL GO PUNCH YOURSELF WHOEVER SAYS THIS. It's in the 50's. It's raining (basically all day). We lost power. I left Washington for this reason.

2/23: destroyed an outhouse with Isaac using a hammer and crowbar. Then Sam, Ben, and I hung out in a tree for our break.
