Had such a lovely first day in Edinburgh yesterday! I've been dreaming about a trip like this for years - solo, with a mix of wandering around the city and getting lots of time to work on my writing. I was nervous beforehand that I wouldn't get "enough" writing done and feel disappointed with it, but turns out I shouldn't have been, been writing a bunch and enjoying it so much. Also had the best city wander, had fun playing around with my film camera, found some good coffee, and enjoyed the sun!

Some house progress from the last week and a very snowy walk! I really thought we were done with the cold when we had that week of sunshine and spring feelings but man was I wrong, we've had more snow at the house in the past week than in February and March taken together. And just to really celebrate the return of winter our hot water boiler broke so we haven't had hot water since Saturday yay 🤦‍♀️🤣 but I refuse to let that take over, because on the bright side we finally have a sofa, and we spent Sunday making the sofa corner and the kitchen table perfect, doing all those little detail things that otherwise get put off for ages. We have a rug! We have plants! We have a plant shelf! I'm so happy haha. Very sad to be saying goodbye to the house for now, today marks the start of the first of three trips coming up, I'm only going to be home for three days between now and June o.o but I'm excited too! First stop Edinburgh ❤️

March felt like a mix of two seasons. From winter up here, with some of the best powder days of the winter and snow at the house, to some lovely sunny spring days in France and Zurich. Two seasons in my mind as well, with some very low energy days and some of the happiest days. Let's see what April brings 💙

Had kind of given up on winter with a very low snow February, but March has been pretty amazing so far, especially in the past week - a nearby mountain got incredible conditions and I had a few days of really pushing my limits, from tight, technical lines to some real big mountain runs. I'm so happy with my progress over the past few years and so proud of where I'm at, and my love for this sport just continues to grow 💙 (also spot Ben in that middle picture of the massive drop, that was scary to video haha)
