I was mixed on BODIES BODIES BODIES, a satire on Gen-Z shallowness wrapped up in a whodunnit, frequently funny and wild but perhaps not as biting as it could have been. But it also has Lee Pace popping champagne with a machete so, balance. My review: https://bit.ly/3bZ7zGd

This weekend, I was so excited to watch PREY, and then I realized: I've never seen a Predator movie! So I watched PREDATOR and then watched PREY and loved both. Wish I could've seen it in a theater. Amber Midthunder is a capital S Star. Read my review here.

Baz Luhrmann’s ELVIS is a delirious spectacle, and Austin Butler came close to fooling me with his spot-on portrayal of the King. But the film depicts Elvis as more of a vibe than a person. Read my review here.

Turns out when you take a character who has a conflict over not being a real person and make him a real person, he's...pretty boring. That's one of my problems with LIGHTYEAR, a film that hits its emotional high early but fast becomes a slog. Read my review here.
