     oh– that was different. a change in strategy… was she planning something? there was no shift in her expression, the look in her eyes mirroring Nine’s own. whatever may be coming, the witch doesn’t plan to back down.

       the next bite is a slow, but medium sized one as the distance began to close. her posture remains laxed, gaze steady on the other woman. she can admire her boldness to continue on–not many would. 

          It’s the most stimulating pocky game she’s had in a long time, and she’s grateful for it. She blinks twice, then dares to let magenta eyes flicker towards Nine’s lips. Losing or winning, she had a feeling she would feel like a winner regardless.

This time, she matches the bite. The shrinking space is palpable, as is the warm air between them. It’s almost a struggle to hold back, but she will... for now.

Wow! Strange how warm it’s gotten all of a sudden. Didn’t it just turn Fall recently? Ha ha ha, so weird.

“ Well I’ve got pretty good sleight of hand, so the confidence just sorta naturally comes. ” There goes a bit of a nervous laugh. Seems like Litchi’s really going all out for this one. “ Unless you want me t’ like do it another way? I’m not sure how this game is done. ”

          Watching him for a moment, she relaxes out of the seductive state she was just in. Her smile is easy, and she takes the stick out of her mouth in order to talk further.

     “Well, I don’t doubt your abilities at that. I doubt I could keep this safe, honestly.” She laughs. “But yes, I mean the game. It’s 11/11, after all. Would you like me to teach you? It’s really quite fun!”

  a smirk grows on her lips at the confident move, an eyebrow raised as if to ask if that was all she had. without wasting any time, she takes a bite herself– a bit bigger than before.

        “ Oh, I’m sure you have. ” comes a retort, her own confidence practically oozing.

          She mulls over what to do as she admires Nine’s features. That was bold, and a clear sign they’re not playing games. Should she match it? Place more chips in? Or perhaps...

The bite she take is smaller, but the look in her eyes has not changed. Something is brewing, but she’s eager to see how things proceed.

     Ragna the Bloodedge is certainly a confident man in a lot of things– but when it comes to something like this… Yeah, he’s definitely no master, especially compared to people like Litchi. There was was, making a pocky challenge that just screams for people to dare try to prove her wrong… but that’s where Ragna’s expertise can shine through a little. How many times has he stepped up to the plate to prove people wrong, to flat out deny what others claim to be impossible?

          “… You’re a dangerous woman sometimes, ya know that?“ The free end of the pocky was suddenly caught by the former-criminal’s mouth, teeth quickly snapping off a piece as he waited for her next move.

           It’s quick, the rise of her pulse, the abrupt realization of how close their faces are, how close they will be. Was color rising to her cheeks already? No, certainly not. She wasn’t some schoolgirl, easily flustered at being so close to someone so important. And besides, she’d placed her ultimatum, now she had to follow through. So she grins, eyes closing. In the end, she could really win, couldn’t she?

      “You’re one of the only people to ever call me that, Ragna.” Her mouth opens slowly and so do her eyes. A bite is taken as she stares at him through thick lashes.

          “Well, well, aren’t you confident...?” A playful laugh turns into a smooth hum. Crossing her arms beneath her chest, she leans in, batting her lashes twice before giving a doe-eyed stare.

   “ u - um …  i’m a bit of a beginner so —— ”     how is her hand already so tense ?   this should be an easy win for Litchi .

          So cute...! Litchi can’t help but giggle at Trinity’s sheepishness. She’s the type who could get others to forfeit out of empathy, certainly.

     “It’s okay, we all start somewhere! You don’t have to if you don’t want to though, it’s fine~”

   " Is that so? “ a thoughtful hum follows and the next thing that happens, the witch is placing her lips at the other end. ” There’s a first time for everything. “

          Oh? This was a surprise, though by far from an unwelcome one. Pulse quickening just slightly, her lips quirk up into a broader smile.

     “Well now... I wonder if I’ve met my match~” Though despite saying that, she takes a very confident bite towards the other woman.

     Man, when Litchi really wants to show her confidence– she shows it in spades. She always has such a bold atmosphere around her when she feels sure about something… It’s pretty impressive, actually. … Maybe a little dangerous, too.

          “Not once~” Her eyelashes lower, a coquettish look thrown up at him. It didn’t hurt to act like this around him every once in a while, right? “Not to say there haven’t been close calls, but...” Batting her lashes, she shifts the weight of her hips, as well as her lips to point the stick his way.

     “Think you can make me break my streak?”
