We really aren’t exploring the Perabeth college concept nearly as much as we should be. They finally get to live in peace and enjoy their youth. They can finally go on dates to the local café without the fear of a fight; they can stay up late watching movies instead of staring out the window wondering what’s lurking in the dark; and they can spend the day studying knowing there’s no looming threat of a prophecy. They’ve gone through so much, and they deserve to spend their college days getting to enjoy being young. There's so much fluff potential here and we're ignoring it

I like to think about Percabeth's domestic scenes, not just the ones in tcotg, but before the hoo plot takes place. I imagine Annabeth visiting New York with Percy, taking long walks in central park, romantic picnics, karaoke nights with Percy's family (Paul and Annabeth going wild with the Hamilton soundtrack while Sally and Percy just enjoy and record videos of the moment), going to the cinema every Friday and making it a habit between them, having a sacred moment when they just sit in comfortable silence, Percy sitting at his desk doing his homework and Annabeth lying on his bed reading a book. It's things like this that keep me alive.

when percy gets the news that annabeths doing badly after getting stabbed in tlo and he just snatches up will and??? drives a motorcycle in full speed to the hotel??? without knowing how to drive a motorcycle??? (omg its going to hit harder in the tv show when inexperienced 12 year old percy failing at driving a car for the first time vs 16 year old hero percy driving a motorcycle effortlessly for the first time without trying)

annabeth taking the knife for percy was peak impulsiveness at that stage of their relationship. because up until this point of the series. if i'm remembering correctly. all of annabeth actions were calculated. even her stubborn actions had merit. but taking the knife? knowing he was invulnerable? but taking the knife? knowing that him watching you cry out in agony hurt him just the same if he had been stabbed? but taking the knife? and then lying on a cot in the glisten of the setting sun? vulnerable and slow? grounding him like he's the one who needed saving? like watching you bleed out is enough to kill him? and touching the small of his back brings him back to life? impulsiveness turned romantic. turned angst. turned 'all the words i didn't say but you heard them anyway'. don't talk to me.
