Psstt as a Kid fan I gotta ask....how would he confess to his mechanics-obsessed crewmate/potential girlfriend? She loves to build and create all kinds of contraptions, sometimes there is an occasional kaboom, but it's all part of her ideas. Does he even dare to confess first? o:

Thanks for the ask, I know I've written something for Kid in the past with a mechanic s/o so this was pretty fun! Hope you like it!

Kid confessing to a Mechanic love interest

. At first Kid thinks his feelings towards her are just professional appreciation - from one talented builder of metal death traps to another. 

. And he would continue to convince himself of that for a long time, even when he knows it’s probably more than that. 

. One of Kid’s favourite things to do is chill out in the workshop together, coming up with ideas that are each more crazy and outlandish than the next.

. He’s amazed at how she doesn’t shy away from a challenge, even when Kid puts forward an idea that is a technical nightmare, she’s drawing up schematics within minutes.

. Kid doesn’t know if it’s love, but it’s the closest thing to it that he’s ever felt.

. He’s not good at expressing himself. Knows that if he tries to tell her that she means something to him he’s going to fuck it up.

. And if she doesn’t feel the same, if she rejects him, he doesn’t want to lose the friendship they have. He doesn’t want to lose the late nights tinkering together or the shop talk over dinner.

. Kid doesn’t want to stop spending time with her.

. So he sits on his feelings for a while, trying to figure out if she likes him as more or if it’s just friendship and and a shared hobby to her.

. Is not very patient though so can’t hold back for very long.

.  Kid goes a little bit insane trying to think of a way to confess without feeling like an idiot - but he’s always been more of an actions guy than a words guy.

. Is set on confessing and is heading to the workshop when there is an almighty explosion on the Punk and his mind just goes blank.

. Is literally bouncing off walls as he sprints full tilt through the ship to get there and make sure she is okay. 

. When he arrives as the workshop there is smoke billowing out of the door and he can see the flickering of flames inside but she’s standing outside, hands on her knees as she inhales deep lungfuls of air.

. “What the fuck happened?” Kid demands, striding over and taking her by the shoulders, standing her straight so he can quickly check her over to make sure she’s okay. 

. “I was - I was just… shit that scared me!” She shudders and Kid scoffs, shaking his head in exasperation as he places a hand on the back of her neck and pulled her against him.

. “Yeah? Well stop doing stupid shit without me.” He orders, feeling warm spread through his body as she wraps her arms around him, burying her face in his chest. He swallows, nervous all of a sudden. “I- I can’t lose you. Got it?”

Hi Anon! Thanks for requesting this, it took me a while to find the Angst Prompts again! I decided to do Law for this one - then after I'd written it I realised I'd already done this prompt for him previously 🙄 so I guess we can just have two!

Angst Prompt - Law - A Desperate/Urgent hug

The medical supplies Law had been carrying drop from his fingers as he takes in the row of houses, blazing with fire, though his gaze is fixated on one.

He left you there to recover, safe and sleeping while he sorted the repairs on the Polar Tang with the rest of the crew. But now it's engulfed in flames with no sign of you having escaped.

His lips part, your name inaudible over the roaring, crackling and hissing of the flames. He starts to move towards it, calling your name louder though there's no way you can hear him now.

A pair of hands grab at him, pulling him back, then another and another.

Laws throat is raw as he pulls in hot, smoke tinted air, breathing heavily as he watches one of the windows shatter.

A memory surfaces of another one of his irreplaceable people, trapped inside an inferno. Trusting him to come back, to save her.

Another window shatters, flames billow out.

The noise that rips from his throat is strangled, animalistic. Hurt and wild. He can't let it happen again.

His hand moves of its own accord, his thumb and two forefingers up as the beginning of a room swirls at his fingertips and he's ready, about to place himself right into the center of that blazing building when the door disintegrates before his eyes.

You stumble out, backlit by the violent orange light, coughing and spluttering but whole and alive.

Law stumbles as he rushes towards you, long legs and desperation ensuring he's the first to your side.

His skin tightens, heat washing over him as he wraps his arms around you, half carrying half dragging you away from the burning building. He makes it far enough away that you aren't in immediate danger from the fire when your legs give out.

Law goes down with you, hands grasping at you wherever he can touch, checking you over, making himself believe you're okay.

He expects to see angry red, blistered skin, blackening to char. Burned hair and ruined lungs. But when your coughing breaks and you look up, eyes bloodshot and cheeks wet from tears he can see you're untouched by the flames.

"Hey," you manage, coughing once before a smile spreads over your face. "Don't worry, you can't get rid of me that easily."

Law drags you towards him, wrapping his arms around you and burying his face in the crook of your neck. His hands keep gripping and grasping you, trying to pull you closer, afraid to let you go.

He holds you there while the fires burn, shielding you from the heat with his body, repeating "I'm sorry, Name" over and over and over.

And if once or twice the name he whispers isn't yours, you don't say anything.

Aftercare with Zoro, Izo and Heat

Not really much in the way of NSFW but here's your warning anyway

. Zoro .

. Zoro is not big on aftercare at first, but only because he doesn't really know what it is? 

. He hasn't had many (if any) sexual partners beyond his S/O so he is very much learning as he goes.

. Doesn't really care about his own aftercare and would happily fall asleep with sticky thighs and sheets but will clean up with his S/O if they ask him to (he's not big on cleaning at the best of times so this is a good opportunity for a quick wash) 

. Zoro falls asleep very quickly after sex, so any aftercare he does offer is with drowsy eyes. It might seem like he doesn't want to do it buts its more that he's just ready to nap.

. Enjoys cuddling after sex. Likes when his S/O falls asleep on his chest or when he can bury his face in their stomach and drift off.

. If his S/O tells him they want him to do something specific to help them or make them more comfortable after sex Zoro does it without hesitation and will remember it for next time.

. Izo .

. Izo is very attentive and often thinks of things before his partner even requests them.

. He sees to his S/Os needs before his own and will get up and down multiple times before he is satisfied that they are satisfied. 

. Insists on cleaning his partner up before sleep, regardless of how much mess was made. Happy to sort himself out after but will let his partner return the favour if they want.

. Nothing is too much for him. Will brush their hair, get them food or drinks, a massage, even change the covers if they want.

. Izo is almost ritualistic in his aftercare. It is very much a form of worship for him and it gives him a sense of fulfillment to see his partner so relaxed and content.

. Likes falling asleep facing his partner.

. Big fan of pillow talk after, just likes to chat to his partner. Little whispered words between them.

. Has the best snacks.

. Heat .

. Heat can take or leave the aftercare depending on how he is feeling at the time and what is asked of him.

. And he does have to be asked.

. He doesn't automatically offer to take care of his partner after sex, being content to just fall into a hazy sleep together after.

. But if his S/O specifically requests something he will do so with no complaint. So communication is key.

. If he has been with his partner a while he gets to know their wants and needs a little better and doesn't need as much prompting.

. Like Zoro he falls asleep very quickly after shooting his bolt and is always super warm.

. Doesn't necessarily like to cuddle right after but will be down after he's had a chance to settle a bit. Though he still feels like a furnace when his partner snuggles up to him.

Even though my requests are technically closed, I did it! This could have been a scenario in its own right but it's bullet points instead!

Zoro with a fem love interest who is afraid of thunder

. The two of you are working out in the Sunny's gym, each doing your own thing while rain lashes the windows.

. You're doing sit ups when the first crack of thunder splits the air outside, accompanied by a searing flash of lightning.

. Despite yourself, you can't help but let out a little yelp, your body spasming in fear at the loud sound.

. At first glance it seems like Zoro hasn't noticed, too wrapped up in his own workout. So you try to pretend like nothing happened.

. You move across the room to the dumbbells, behind him and pick out a set, glancing nervously at the windows.

. Cautiously you start doing some curls, hoping the thunder has passed until another crack resounds around the room.

. You accidentally drop the dumbbell, biting your lip in an attempt to stifle your shout of surprise.

. "You okay, Name?" Zoro asks, glancing over his shoulder at you. He can't have failed to notice the dumbbell slipping from your hand.

. "O-oh yeah I'm fine," you force out a laugh, bending down to rerack the weight at your feet. "I'm being clumsy today. I think I'm gonna call it quits."

. Zoro raises his eyebrows. You never usually cut your training short.

. "Alright," he shrugs, returning to his squats.

. You pack your things away, wincing away from the window as another peal of thunder shakes the glass.

. Zoro continues with his workout, saying nothing about your strange behaviour as you head over to the hatch.

. As soon as you open the trap door, exposing the wild weather outside, another burst of thunder and lightning splits the sky, causing you to shriek and fall backwards.

. Before you hit the ground a pair of thick arms brace you on either side, a solid chest at your back.

. Zoro looks down at you with his singular eye and shakes his head.

. "You're such a baby," he grumbles, kicking the trap door shut and hoisting you up over his shoulder.

. "Oi! Zoro put me down!" You demand, then wrap your arms around him, tucking your face against his sweat damp skin as more thunder rocks the crows nest.

. You hear a different rumble fill the room as Zoro starts to chuckle. A moment later he drops down onto a window seat, depositing you in his lap.

. "I can't believe your afraid of thunder," Zoro snorts, letting his head flop back against the wall, eye slipping closed.

. "If you're going to make fun of me just let me leave," You sulk, not looking at him.

. "You think I'm going to let you climb down that ladder?" He asks, cracking his eye to look at you again. He snorts. "A little thunder and we're scraping you off the deck."

. You huff, but confirm his suspicions when another boom of thunder makes you jump, pressing yourself against him.

. Zoro tuts, but his arm comes up around you and pulls you against his chest where the steady sound of his heartbeat drowns out the rumble of thunder.
