Guidance Session #1
So we had our first session last December, before the break, and I'm writing this almost a month after. I am afraid I do not remember most of the things I've said during the session, but I do recall some things about the sandbox symbols we were asked to come up with.
The first task was to find an object that best symbolizes you. So this is what I've come up with.
I like lotus flowers. They're beautiful flowers whose seeds grow even in the dirtiest of soils. I think it describes me as a person. I believe that whatever lemons life may throw at me, I'd make some sort of lemonade. Regardless if the experience was good or bad, I'd treasure them, as they have become a part of me. It is because of these experience that I've come to terms with who I truly am.
A new insight: We were tasked not only to "find" our symbol in the shelves full of items, but also to "create" something using the sand. Living, for me, does not only mean we have to make meaning out of everything presented to us. As human beings, we also have the capacity to create meaning, and shape lives.
The second task was to do the same, but this time, to present our dream or goal in the same manner.
My symbol:
It's a chest of money on top of a hill. It's a symbol of my dream of taking our family business to new heights in the future. Family is very important to me. I owe everything I am now to them. They've always supported me in everything I do, especially my parents. That's why my greatest dream is to help them reach theirs.
Insight: I'm a family woman. I find trust and connection very important in relationships. Among my friends, I am known as the motherly type. Admittedly, I predict I will be a doting parent one day.
About the session:
I'm with my friends, so I'm really comfortable with the setup. Our counselor seems really nice too. I don't have any serious problems in life. I'm happy balancing work and play, and believe I am quite healthy as well.

Thoughts: Cait was the first tough girl persona I tried. I had a really difficult time getting her expressions right… Not to mention my boot heels were sinking into the ground HAHAHA (it rained that afternoon). It was either I looked dead serious or gentle-faced (maamo, in Tagalog). It was also my first time to have a formal cosplay shoot. Good thing the photographer was really nice and understanding, especially towards a noob like me xD

Thoughts:
This was my second costume I had CCM make for me ^^ Kunoichi the energetic and loyal ninja is one of my all-time favorite video game characters. She was fairly easy to portray, and even fun to shoot as because I was jumping around the place while the photographer snapped photos.
I have a photo with my sister as well, who cosplayed as Nene, from the same series.

Anarchy Sisters! Version II

Thoughts:
This was our second time wearing these costumes, the first was last April 2014. Because the event we planned to go to was jam packed, we weren’t able to enter the event proper and instead roamed around Megamall in our angel outfits hihihi. We took these photos at home ‘cuz I didn’t bring my camera to the event OTL
On Panty Anarchy:
She was super exciting to cosplay again. She was the first ever character I cosplayed. I really sucked the first time I did her xD My expressions… were not as good as the second time.
My best friend did my makeup for me then. This time, I did my own makeup, as well as my sister’s Stocking makeup, and I’m… just so overwhelmed by how far I’ve improved in cosplay and makeup in a few months. I mean.. my sister was the one who helped me get started, and now, I’m just really happy the hobby has brought us closer than ever before. I’m glad I get to support her in this way. I still have a lot of room for improvement, so I’ll do my very best!
Bonus: I made her sword! It was the first time I made a cosplay prop. I actually made a gun prop for myself too but it broke too soon OTL
