“I asked if you knew about the meteor shower tonight.”

Tony froze and forced himself to take a deep breath and hoped that Peter didn’t notice the reaction. He had stopped paying attention to any sort of space event years ago. In the past he kept up with the events because he loved to find the best spot to watch them all, but now- oh right Peter.

“No.” Tony answered, unsure of how long he was silent for and hoped it wasn’t too long. “I don’t keep up with those. Why?”

OR

Tony used to love space, however after the Battle of New York that changed and from then on he feared the one thing he loved most. Until one night almost 5 years later when Peter asked if Tony wanted to watch a meteor shower with him.

It's a Quiet Starry Place by Lunasquared is so damn good, like the story of Tony's dynamic with the stars as he goes through life is just *chef's kiss*. The ending is also REALLY soft and I just adore it to bits uwu

The first time the press caught sight of Tony with the cushioned, ocean blue backpack hanging down his chest and not his back like one might expect, they were perplexed to say the least. After all, it didn’t quite fit the billionaire’s usual suave fashion, and it didn’t seem to have any practical purposes either since they had never seen the man put anything into it. It was just… there, and nobody could figure out why. At the park, down the street, even at a high-end weapons conference.

Wherever the billionaire went, the backpack seemed to follow, and the media continued to scratch their heads as to why.

But one clever reporter and a photo of Tony smiling down at some unseen entity in the backpack later and the papers had found a headline worth printing on every surface in the city.
