I honestly think it’s best not to know anything about the actor who plays the celeb you crush hard on! I used to be obsessed with Bellamy Blake from the 100, like I had a page just purely for Bellamy fics etc then I looked up the actor because I saw a few things floating around I was like ‘he’s married to his co-star? That’s so cute’ then saw all the allegations that they had a affair when they were both in relationships, and that he actually abused his ex girlfriend and it completely destroyed the character I once loved for me

I’d just like to add I’m in no way saying any actor on HOTD has done anything like that, nor as the allegations about the actor above ever been proven… but ignorance was bliss, and fans of a character are definitely better of not knowing

yeah totally agree. I think most of the time it’s the character we initially fall for and then subsequently the actor… just need to remind ourselves it’s the character that made us fall hard 🖤

By now I’m assuming you’ve seen the post about TGC and a stag party and how everyone thinks he’s getting married . Thoughts ? I mean I didn’t even know he was dating . I think it’s better to not really look too deeply into celebs personal lives , it’s better to respect their abilities , stan them and their characters but not really deep dive into that … plus sometimes it can kinda shatter the illusion or delusion we all sometimes feel towards them … anyway interested to know what you think since you seem to be the authority on TGC

Idk if your team green or just a TGC Stan but as a team green Stan / apologist it really annoys me all these team black Stans who are so hypocritical and flaunt how great team black. Read the book…. They both have good and bad…. Seriously ! I really don’t understand people who say the book favors team green . Also ummm Aemond doesn’t want to be daemon he wants to prove he’s better he knows he’s team blacks biggest threat as daemon recognizes Aemond is team greens . I mean daemon had to jump from his dragon to defeat Aemond so obviously pretty evenly matched …. They both die …. Like wtf are these people knocking aemonds line from the trailer , he’s a teen Targaryen prince , who has the largest dragon has BDE off the chain and mad swordsmanship skills why wouldn’t he be arrogant? Seriously …. You can’t even have decent conversation or discussion without these black stans coming at you with insults … it’s infuriating . honestly I think I lean more towards team black although I’m not like dead set on the whole teams thing. I love characters from either side and I think they both have their undeniable flaws…

I do agree with you especially about the show being centred around Nyra vs Alicent rather than Nyra vs Aegon. as someone that read the book, I think this was a huge mistake on their end and I really hope with s2 they transition the storyline into Nyra and Aegon but I doubt that… think Alicent will still play a major part in the competition.

I have seen a lot of Aemond fans actually making fun of his line from the trailer and being like “no boo that’s not it—”

I do think Aemond was one of team green’s biggest threats towards team black although he was just a boy. I think he’s just meant to parallel with Daemon, doesn’t necessarily mean he wanted to be Daemon…

I think both sides of the team have stans that are just… no point talking to a brick wall you know? I would suggest just talking to people that have a neutral approach to the dance.
