Hi there! I’ve been searching for days and have yet to find what I’m looking for, so I wanted to try sending some details here. I’m looking for a fic where Tony is married off to Steve and sent away to live in Steve’s land, and it’s an AU set in what I could only assume is some fictionalized pre-Europe European setting (think pre-Arthurian time period). I don’t remember many specifics from the fic (which is why it’s been so hard to find), but I do remember that Tony ended up basically inventing a water heater (using fire that boiled the water maybe? But not like manually? It might have been magic) that Steve had him incorporate all over the kingdom or colony or what have you. I remember tony was really excited about being able to build because his father wouldn’t let him actually incorporate any of his engineering into life in his home kingdom. I think Tony may have also been making other new and improved tools/weapons (?) for Steve’s land. I can’t recall if it was an ABO fic or something similar, but I think it’s fairly likely that it was given the context i remember. I’m sorry I don’t have more to go on.
