It was the plan to launch my new limited edition section on the website with some fanfare last week, and indeed it you follow the link in the profile you can browse my art pieces. Current events mean I’m finding it hard to set the tone, it’s hard even for me to think about jewellery at the moment even though everyone I know is currently safe and well. But I’m self employed and need to try to carry on (albeit running a home school as well! 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦🙂) so I can only hope a few pictures of colourful jewels can be a welcome temporary distraction for everyone without seeming flippant. At the moment in theory I can safely still send out items so if you are looking for gifts or even something to jazz up your next zoom meeting feel free! Obviously, life and the outlook for the next few months has changed dramatically for many of us. And like I'm sure many others I have emerged from the last few anxious days trying to formulate a plan to carry on as best as I can. So far I am lucky in that I don't know anyone affected by the virus and I am following government advice closely as all businesses are. Unless advice changes I hope to still provide some delight and colour by continuing to deliver gifts for others and even yourself to cheer up these worrying times. I have moved most of the studio equipment and stock to my home and can safely dispatch from there for the moment. Every piece will be washed and sanitised even more carefully before dispatch, all our pieces are washable with soap and water so you can keep items you receive and own clean. We can send direct to anywhere with a handwritten note if you wish to send gifts remotely. My online shop currently reflects pieces that are available for immediate dispatch, at the moment quite limited, but I do intend top these up more in the coming week as I get some processes up and running at home. Sadly most of my stockists are now closed for the time being, as is sensible, if you can find ways to support independent businesses online please do. If you are thinking of a last-minute Mother's Day gift please shop online with the confidence I will dispatch all orders made before 3pm Friday by Special Delivery, in order to guarantee arrival on Saturday.
