it's funny though because that wasn't the first time roman and seth have been through that. they had a match at the 35th royal rumble in 2022 where seth came out through the crowd to the shield music while dressed in his shield gear. there he taunted roman with their past. eventually roman hit seth with a chair just like seth did to him in 2014. i just think it was not only more memorable but more impactful for it to happen tonight as well. roman lost everything for getting back at seth again. letting the past drag him back. don't get me wrong, seth brought it up, but roman fell for it. that shows just how much it mattered to him. he can't let it go and last night he lost because of it. he lost everything again.
