Oh, Monst. You don’t need me to tell you why it’s not gonna work out with this man, do you? I think you already know… you’re both as petty as each other and you have the best banter, anyone on the outside would think you’re arguing but it’s just the way you both get along. He cringes at your terrible jokes and you’re always bringing something home for each other, because deep down you proper love each other don’t you? But you’re so busy with all your hobbies you don’t even seem to notice that he’s never home anymore. Taking any and every shift available because he wants to chase that top spot, and he’s not gonna give up until he gets there. You already know when you get that phone call an hour before you’re supposed to meet him for dinner that he’s not coming, don’t you? That’s why sometimes you don’t even bother getting ready anymore, you’re already in your pyjamas and the takeout is already en route for your quiet night in. It pisses you off, and yet you’re still with him? You’re letting him walk all over you, babes. And he thinks nothing is wrong when you keep bringing him home gifts that made you think of him when you were out, just tell him that you’re unhappy! But you won’t, will you? You’ll just keep masking your feelings with sarcasm and banter while you’re breaking inside because the man you love is drifting further and further away. Maybe you should call Seiji and get him to turn Bakugou into a meatball, maybe then things would work out?

Babes, come on. I know we’ve talked about this before, stop going for men with daddy issues. It never works out! You‘ve spent the first few months of your relationship explaining to him that girls can cum too, and now he finally gets it you can sit back and see things aren’t all sunshine and daisies are they? There’s no point even making plans with Shigaraki, because he’s not gonna go. He’s got more important things to be doing with his time, but I guess that means he’ll never be able to cancel on you? So maybe he is better than Bakugou… Nah, but honestly he is super sweet once he lets you in, but that’s part of the struggle. There’s so many layers to uncover before you get there, will you ever even make it? He shares things with you he’s never told anyone before, so much so you end up feeling more like his therapist than his partner. He doesn’t grant you the same courtesy and sometimes you just find yourself longing for someone who actually cares about you. It brews resentment and resentment has you questioning everything. It’s not that he’s horrible, he just doesn’t know what he’s doing. Maybe if you’d met him in another lifetime or an alternate timeline things would’ve been perffff for you both… but right now you’re growing further apart because maybe he’s not what you thought you were looking for. You end up breaking up with him because things just become stagnant, and for you that’s the worst thing that could happen in a relationship. But hey, you said you were learning to juggle so maybe he can help you with that? I mean, he’s got enough hands!

I really want to write a story with a lower income Reader catching the eyes of a very wealthy maybe CEO or even prince type yandere who although loves you is very controlling and wants to change tons of things about you and it gets progressively more awkward as you realize you hate the way your partner can just throw money around

Imagine edging into this relationship and feeling super self conscious because they're so much more higher income than you and they eventually start trying to redo your entire wardrobe, trying to dress you in clothes of a certain style and quality, throwing out your old ones, insisting you have certain hair/skin care routines, even how you style your hair, even controlling who you hang out with, maybe even taking your phone because "you just spend way too much time talking to peoppe beneath you"

It's because you're their little darling and they just want you to be your absolute best self after all 🥺 they want you to look as perfect outwardly as they know you are inwardly. one day you turn around and you no longer own anything that you've paid for, you don't have a job, you're a completely kept partner, and you realize "oh wait shit, I actually don't think I'm even in love anymore, in fact I think my partner is a stuck up aristocratic douchebag" but now you don't even have a source of income to leave and they've cut you off from each and every one of your friends that they haven't hand-selected for you

They lure you into a relationship when you're vulnerable and lonely and by the time you notice all the red flags, you're already in their house, on their private land, with their security detail, and now they're talking about how they think it's time for the two of you to be wed ❤

romcom idea for………..hm, idk who I would write this for……maybe kirishima?

love guru reader who is the best in the business. 100% approval rate by their clients, 100% guarantee to find your perfect match. people far and wide, rich and poor, come seek you out. giving you all that they can as you ask a mere twenty questions to discover who their true love is. it doesn’t matter the person, the answers, the reason, no one ever goes unmatched for more than a week and certainly everyone ends up happy.

it’s basically universal public opinion that you’re cupid and create true love.

but you’re now 28, and after being invited to your — now breaking into the thousands — clients wedding, you realize that you’re single, alone, and completely unable to find love for yourself. and although you have never cared before, you want a person to call your own now.

enter kirishima eijirou who spent most of his younger twenty’s in a relationship that he thought would be the one for him, and is now been single for nearly two years and is ready to get back out there. but wants to be with the person he is destined to marry.

you were recommended to him by past clients of yours, also known as some of his best friends. and one day, as you wait in your office sipping on your water, he enters your office.

despite your want to flirt with your client, you remain professional and ask him all that you need to know. he leaves with a lighter step and a brighter smile, and you remain in some trance as you read answers that speak to your soul.

days begin to pass and kirishima has no match, and when a week hits, you apologize in tears because you failed for the first time ever. he apologizes because he never meant to cause you this stress, and promises to make up for the distress he caused you because he was the one unable to simply date a person.

thus begins weekly turned daily lunches that fade to nights of fun.

and you find yourself falling deeper and deeper for the man who became more of a friend than a failed client.

but of course, where is a romcom without that twist and drama?????

the night you plan on confessing to kirishima, enter ashido mina. a young woman your age, who’s bright, pink, and just a lot of things you wish you could be.

she explains her situation to you: two years post a long and serious relationship, wants to find love, and trusts you entirely.

you blink as you study her answers and realize that kirishima eijirou is a perfect match. it’s in the system, and there’s nothing to do except watch as kirishima enters your office with your daily lunch with a bright smile and confused eyes as he sees the email notification on his screen from you.

“you have a match now,” you croak, knowing your place and knowing what he was around here for. “I suggest you try it out, lover boy. she seems amazing.”

“y/n—“

you close the office door with a pained smile.

anyways, yadda yadda yadda, kirishima and mina meet up and are surprised to see that it’s each other. they laugh as they reconcile — platonically of course because they were childhood friends and they want to make things normal again for them.

you on the other hand, are going ballistic because you liked a man but of course your cursed power means that he’s not it for you.

and the show stopper?

going to your office one day and seeing kirishima sitting on your chair at your desk — your secretary let him in.

“what are you—?”

“sit down, make yourself comfortable,” kirishima interrupts, mimicking speech you had done to him all that time ago. “tell me about your, your name, where you’re from, any past romantic relationships?”

you purse your lips, throat thick with emotions as you sit down, pretending you’re perfectly okay. and so, to amuse your friend, you answer him slowly.

and so, kirishima continues, reciting all the questions you do, and writing them down on your laptop as you did.

“well, an email will immediately get sent out if you match with anyone in the system, and if not, i’m sure there’ll be a special person for you before the week is up!” kirishima brightly states and you can only smile and roll your eyes.

so, of course, the two of you sit in silence, you unsure of what to say, and kirishima scared because he went off on the craziest limb.

ding.

ding.

the two of you look at identical emails on your phone addressing a location, date, and time for the two of you to meet for a first date.

“I didn’t match with anyone on the system within the week because the person i’m meant for never added themselves into it,” kirishima says with a soft smile, collecting your hands in his as you begin to cry.

“b-but what about ashido-san?”

“she’s great, but i’m not into my ex that way anymore.”

and of course there’s happily ever after.
