What all do you need to retcon?

Well, to put it into perspective, I've lost about 90% of the notes I had for this AU, so "retcon" might actually be better replaced with just completely restarting the askblog...

There's a lot of things that I think could have been written better personally (from what I remember and what little notes I have left), which would affect certain character's personalities (specifically Izuku and Katsuki), plus some other things that would be spoilers for you guys.

Like I mentioned before, I wiped out the entire askbox to have a bit of a clean slate fresh start (I'll also be going back and editing the previous posts to organize them a bit better). Hopefully this answers your question and other possible questions!

MULTI-VERSE MIDORIYA

I’m doing a lil’ interactive project here on tumblr.

The objective of this project is to support writers/artists in this fandom using a base and decorating it in their au to promote ideas as well as get their art/writing out there!! ((possibly even the creation of one of those screenshot memes to see what au you get for those who do not participate..who knows ) edit: for example: I made a crappy one a while back if you do not know what I’m talking about EXAMPLE))

What you got to do:

Simply put; use the base and decorate it as your own!

[M. Liam]: I’m not sure what fic you’re talking about, Anon, but I will let you know that I have not written anything about this AU on Ao3.

I’ve said before, but there were multiple Fics and AUs/Drawings on Tumblr that have inspired me to create my own version of the idea of a “Reluctant Hero” Midoriya Izuku--and I do not take ownership of the idea whatsoever.

However, I will claim ownership of this specific Izuku and the story I have planned for him. Any similarities to other fics with or AUs are completely coincidental, and are not intentional!

I noticed that for the word fusion you went down the 'Steven universe' design (eyes being doubled) over the more common Dbz design. Or am I just reading into this to much

[M. Liam]: Nah, you're right! I'm a casual watcher of SU, but I've always been a fan of their "fusions" and the symbolism of how they form and what they look like (also, I've only watched like one episode of DBZ when I was like, seven or something).

If OFA only comes out when you save people. Can you sorta trick it, like scaling wise? For example, someone needs help from a common purse thief, think you would be able to make it so you use a small amount and not harm yourself instead of using full power and basically destroying half a city block?

[Izuku]: In Aizawa-sensei’s words: I lit up like a Christmas tree. And knocked the zero-pointer’s leg away from Uraraka. With no broken limbs.

[Izuku]: “Hero’s Timing”… I think it saved me. At least, by limiting One for All’s power, so I wouldn’t cripple myself. You know, since I wouldn’t be able to save anyone if I end up with broken limbs.

[Izuku]: I’ve tried seeing if it would let me use One for All on smaller things, but… nothing happened. It only activates with someone is in life-threatening danger.

[Izuku]: Thanks. I hate it.

This Deku kind of reminds me of Hawk. Hawk doesnt want to be a hero but was scouted young due to his talent and does the work because he's a good guy. What does Deku think of Hawk in general (of course not-aware of his like-minded mindset just the young up and comer.)

[Izuku]: Guy’s got a good head on his shoulders, I think. When we crossed paths, we never really got to talk so I can’t really tell you much.

[M. Liam]: You know. A lot of people over the course of this askbkog have asked about whether or not this story had an ao3 fic attached. In which... I never really considered going that route. I am more of an artist than a writer, after all.

However, it was before I created a cohesive story for this idea, this au. So, I aim this question to you, my audience.

Would you like to see a full written out fic of Reluctant Hero, start to finish? Would you rather keep seeing the parts I draw out as sort of semi-comic? Or some other, third opinion I haven't said?

Send me your thoughts! I'd love to hear from you all, for what you prefer and what you'd like to see in the future. It means a lot to me <3!

Edit: If I went the fic route, this blog would have to go through a sort of “restart”, I think. I don’t know quite yet what I’m going to do, but I’ll get back to you all on that!
