So remember a while back when people were expressing their concerns that recasters were growing at an exponential rate to a point where their “dolls” were looking more legitimate and caused speculation of them being factories, especially Luo, and the pro theft gang was like “you’re exaggerating” and dismissed it because of their assumption it was just a small group of people?

Yea no, that was a fucking lie

ChinaBJD has literally grown to the point where they have a whole staff of people that work different departments of their company, created multiple fake recast hybrids to slide past copyright violations, offering full sets for their counterfeits, selling their counterfeits to other sellers like a wholesale item, offering their own casting service that we’ve learned as of recent, and are now selling other doll products to increase their revenue. This is honestly so appalling how far they’ve come when the majority of the artists they’ve stole from are still small businesses with not even close to 10 employees, some still are SINGLE artists in the same amount of time they’ve grown to a literal goddamn factory.

They would have NEVER gotten this far if they didn’t have a dedicated fan base of supporters, aka the pro theft/pro recast/anti artist gang consistently buying their shitty counterfeits. And I’m not talking about the people who got their counterfeit by accidental purchase or as a gift, I’m talking about those who buy purposely seek out Luo and buy their fakes at a disgusting rate and the scum who purposely send dolls to be recast.

So to those pro theft people who brushed off how Luo wasn’t going to grow past a small operation and those who purposely keep putting money in their pocket, if you ever wonder why no one in the community wants to deal with your people or even humor you all? This is why. You all have given so much money and motivation to for a counterfeiter become a LITERAL GODDAMN FACTORY that has become direct competition to the artists who make the dolls you love so much and act like it’s not a big deal when it is. And if you think I’m “exaggerating” go to the link below for their Alibaba where they have listings set up to sell their counterfeits as wholesale or search “Taihe Zhongshe Toy Co., Ltd.” on google and look at their Company profile. This is no longer a “small operation, it’s a full blown counterfeiting business.

Hello, my name is Auryn. I'm a jewish trans man who lives with my wife, a disabled jewish trans woman, in Washington state. We have tried to crowdfund several times to get the money to fix my wife's overdrawn account, but we need help again this month buying groceries, household items, and medications. My wife is diabetic and neither one of us eats regularly because we have to save money. I worry about her constantly and want to keep her safe and healthy, I hate asking for help but I really have no other way of getting money right now. Our stimulus checks went to other expenses, and that left us broke. I have a job again but I am several weeks away from a paycheck. My family is either unable to simply unwilling to help, and her family is abusive and wants nothing to do with us.

Not only that, but it is our five year anniversary on January 15th and I want to do something nice for her. Even if it's cooking a nice dinner, or giving her a small gift. I want to show her how much I love her.

Just saw a spicy hot take in the notes of an ADHD post that was like “adhd isn’t a mood disorder stop making excuses” from a supposed fellow ADHD person and like yes, ADHD is not exclusively a mood disorder. It’s 4 of them hiding under a trench coat with 15 other neurological disorders. And also:

-Irritability: issues with anger dysregulation – “tantrum” episodes as well as chronic or generally negative feelings in between episodes.

-Lability: frequent, reactive mood changes during the day.

-Recognition: the ability to accurately recognize other people’s feelings. Individuals with ADHD may tend to not notice other people’s emotions until pointed out.

-Affective intensity: felt intensity – how strongly an emotion is experienced. People with ADHD tend to feel emotions very intensely.

-Emotional dysregulation: global difficulty adapting emotional intensity or state to situation.

Like not to be wildly and irrationally peeved about this, but bully for you if you don’t experience this as part of your ADHD, but over 70% of us do and saying we’re making excuses or not trying hard enough is the exact same shit neurotypicals say to invalidate us, and causes us real harm. Please don’t do the same thing. Trauma inflicted by neurotypicals is a huge part of why living with ADHD is so difficult. We don’t need it from within our own community too.

We all experience this shit show disorder differently. It’s a spectrum of one size fits no one, not a cookie cutter mold to fit into.

And yeah, you know what, this shit isn’t an excuse to behave badly, but you know what, knowing emotional dysregulation is a symptom of ADHD helps you to treat it and work on getting a handle on it. Knowing the reason it feels like the world is ending in your chest because something bad happened, and knowing it’s because your gremlin brain is perpetually starved for dopamine so there’s no cushion for the raw emotional feedback currently happening can help you, with practice, to curb the impulsive desire to do something rash or harmful.

I mean, fuck, there’s a reason for why suicide is so prevalent in ADHD, and I’m going to go out on a limb and say that impulsivity and severe emotional dysregulation is a part of that.

Knowing that the feeling will end and isn’t an accurate reflection of the situation, overwhelmingly painful as it is in the moment, can help. It does help. So denying this aspect as part of ADHD? Not helpful, and you need to take some time to sit with your thoughts and see why you want to distance yourself so much from this to the point of invalidating others.

Having Ehlers Danlos Syndrome sometimes feels about the equivalent of being composed of jello and wet spaghetti. Nothing stays where its supposed to. Literally every single cell in the body is floppy, so fingers are definitely an issue for many of us. I can almost guarantee that for the majority of us, writing is not only slow and painful but nearly impossible at times. FIne motor skills? What even are those? An EDSer surely doesn’t have any of those. Even typing which is far easier than writing, is painful and daunting at times. But last year I joined the population of shiny zebras by getting fitted for a set of Silver Rings Splints and they are beyond magical.

For those of you who have not heard of The Silver Ring Splint Company, they are a company that custom makes finger splints that look like elegant pieces of jewelry. Don’t believe me? Well I can’t even tell you how many compliments I’ve received for them. Nobody even suspects that they might possibly be medical. But more importantly, they work amazing! I still have hand pain and finger dislocations when performing fine motor skills and writing is definitely not something I look forward to but I have saved myself thousands of painful dislocations, I can open doors easier, type faster, write longer and hold objects in my hands without looking like an alien from a sic-fi movie. With the rings on my fingers actually look like fingers rather than tentacles!

The company is also family owned and the people are so sweet and helpful!
