Lord of Shadows: he’s still bad... but he didn’t remember and he regrets it and he had the right intentions and he does care about Mark I guess

Just finished Tower of Dawn and I’m actually shocked at how much I liked it. I was convinced I’d be bored just focusing on Chaol in a strange land, but it was awesome.

Though, if I had to read Chaol calling himself a bastard one more time I was going to scratch my eyes out.

Based on a post by @ti-bae-rius I had this thought.

So we know Ty’s really sensitive to touch, some textures he likes, some he doesn’t…so is it entirely out of the realms of possibility that when he and Kit finally get together, this turns into a kink of some kind or at the least brought into their sex life. Like they bring things In that have different textures and what have you and see what textures and feels make them feel really good?!

Malec feels…

Do you ever think that one of the reasons Alec Lightwood wanted to adopt Max Lightwood-Bane was because he was a warlock? Because Max would be immortal.

Think about it, at that point in their relationship Alec knew that what he had with Magnus was genuine and special for the both of them, he knew he’d mean more than just some memory or momento to Magnus after he’d be gone.

And he knew just how much Magnus would hurt once he’d die and Alec wanted to make sure Magnus had a reason to live and love after he’s gone.

And that reason is Max.

Not only that, Alec also knew raising a warlock as their own child meant that one day Max would take care of Magnus when Alec no longer would be able to.

Alec wanted to make sure both his boys had someone on the day and many days after when he’d no longer exist.

And that makes me so sad…..

Ok, real question. Am I the only one who doesn’t really get the whole “I love you more than starlight” thing? Like, how does that give context to how much Emma loves Julian? Emma isn’t a lovey doves person who invokes the stars/starlight on the reg? I don’t remember her referencing stars/the sky throughout the series???
