No thoughts, just pink. 🤣 I’m seeing far too much Barbie stuff in my feeds to not get influenced. 🤣

Didn’t try too hard with this. It’s extremely messy because I tried not to overthink and stay loose with my lines etc. Also wanted to do a sort of negative space top thing (although in hindsight, doing so with a long haired one defeated the point I was going for slightly). So yep, more of a sketchbook thing than anything else. :)

This one worked out better than I expected it to! Started off with a pencil sketch on a canvas texture and wanted to really resist the urge to smooth everything out so went with a palette knife brush from the #oilmaxpack and I think it let me be more loose and focus more on form. - It was also going to be grey and blue but I couldn’t resist adding in a splash of colour. LOL! Timelapse and wips posted on the Patreon! 💕

Started painting this one last night and haven’t really slept much LOL! Super proud of how it turned out and feel like I’m starting to get to grips with @maxulichney ‘s new oil brushes!! - I really like their versatility for skin! Tried @maxulichney ‘s newly released oil brushes last night and omgg, I can tell you I didn’t even feel like I was painting digitally! They’re so unique and cool to work with and they leave the most gorgeous textures too! Check out the second image for a close up and zoom!❤️🙌🏻👌🏻

Seeing as it’s #mermay from tomorrow, I attempted to break down how to easily draw some simple mermies on stream today. Line of action-circle for the head-triangle for shoulders and body-fish for the legs/tail! All following the line of action which was super quickly scribbled onto the page. After that, we thought of 2 long beans and a seed for each arm and a ‘fried egg’ shape for the hair. 🤣 Then you can check which poses are stronger by filling in to see the silhouette! 🤣🤣🤣 You can see some are clearer than others, so you can tell which to go forward with! - Obviously after that point, you can go in and define things, but I wanted to do a break down that would be simple to understand. ❤️😅🤣 - Swipe up for timelapse to see what I meant (I hope it works here on tumblr!). I hope it helps those who want to take part in @mermay_official ❤️❤️❤️ This is just how I think when I draw them of course, and is not a rule!!! - I’m not sure I’ll be able to properly take part this year because I’m meant to be limiting my stress levels while my body doesn’t seem to be producing cortisol. - So I can stay out of the hospital!! 🤣❤️ But I might do a few here and there because they’ll be good for my personal project anyway. ❤️🧜🏻‍♀️

Oh and I have a sale on at the moment with discounts on prints for domestic customers (due to no international exports allowed by our postal service) too!

I’m currently working on improving photos in the shop and I’m really happy with some of the ones I’ve taken! ❤️ Hopefully I can actually upload those soon but there’s a lot to do.

Oh!!! Aaaaaand, I’m working on trying to increase what kind of stuff I offer as well and here’s an example of something that will be coming soon! - I say soon… lol! It could be awhile in the making, but it’s a work in progress… I only have limited energy a day with my illnesses, so this is just me saying I am working on it, but it could take time. 😅
