so since the most popular (? at least the one i saw get shared around the most) english picrew tutorial seems to have gotten deleted i decided to make my own, cuz a lot of picrew features are kinda hard to figure out even if you translate the page…
this guide covers the basics of adding items and color options and what various settings do, as well as some slightly more complicated things like layers and using color palettes. at the end i’ve added a section on tags and publishing and stuff.
i’ve tried my best to make this tutorial simple and easy to follow, so i hope people find it useful!
lastly, this post probably won’t show up tumblr searches because of Forbidden Links™, so feel free to reblog or just spread the link around

For artists who have problems with perspective (furniture etc.) in indoor scenes like me - there’s an online programm called roomsketcher where you can design a house/roon and snap pictures of it using different perspectives.
It’s got an almost endless range of furniture, doors, windows, stairs etc and is easy to use. In addition to that, you don’t have to install anything and if you create an account (which is free) you can save and return to your houses.
Examples (all done by me):
Here’s an example for how you can use it
