one of the things i love about the end of so the drama is that when ron finally confesses to kim, he doesn’t push for a response at all. he tells her how he feels and leaves it at that. he doesn’t even bring it up again.

the rest of it is kim!!! she’s the one that takes him by the hand to go to prom, she’s the one that puts her arms around him to pull him closer, she’s the one that goes in for the kiss. he asks her to dance, and that’s it. like, he’s completely in love with this girl, she’s holding his hand, they’re at prom together, but he’s so careful not to make any assumptions about what she wants!! he’s been pining over her for so long but he still waits for her to make the first move!!! because he’s thinking about kim and her comfort and happiness above everything else including his own feelings for her!!!!! i love them!!!! so much!!!!!!

Kim and Ron’s dynamic: The 5 love languages An Analysis

I will be touching upon an old, forgotten debate that will help me analyze one of my favorite couples.

I wasn’t personally involved in the discussion, I stumble upon it after it was long over, it was originally about Drakgo (Drakken/Shego), but the person positioning against it also had some interesting says about Kim and Ron, they had a very eloquent way to express their thoughts, but I couldn’t disagree more with what they were saying.

They argue Kim and Ron’s relationship was one-sided, but not in the way I thought they were going to claim. According to them their relationship was “one-sided”, “poor” and “doomed to fail” because:

 “Not once in the show did Ron said that he loved Kim”

That’s a very bold assumption considering that they’ve dated 6 months prior the beginning of season 4. But even if that were to be true It wouldn’t matter because it would only meant that Ron just has different ways of telling that he loves her.

Here’s the thing: both Kim and Ron have very different ways of showing their care/love for each other, but that doesn’t mean one of them is “superior” or more valid than the other.

Kim is more straight forward, she expresses her love through more physical affection (physical touch) and in later seasons via being more supportive and giving encouragement (words of affirmation).

Ron shows it mostly through his words and actions: giving gifts, actively trying to spend time with her (Quality time), providing her of emotional support, and by attemptimg to do and be better (acts of service).

Another thing I really appreciate about their relationship is that it’s based in more than looks and beyond appearances, both made compromises and sacrifices, like getting jobs, putting more effort into school and in general they took into more responsibilities.  

They undergrowth growth thanks to their bond whether it being in a platonic or a romantic sense: Kim became more tolerant and supportive (Specially in season 4) and Ron become more responsible and confident.

Kim and Ron complement and lift each other, they have what the other lacks, and that’s what makes them a great team!

Even Shego realized it: together they save the world

Kim says that she couldn’t save the world without Ron and Kim means the world to him.

Something worth mentioning is that even after they got together their dynamic didn’t change much, and neither do they as persons, Kim and Ron conserved their individualities and remained true to themselves.
