you can be reading the absolute most sublime fic of your life, the pinnacle, the cream-of-the-crop, something you'll reread over and over again and which would be dogeared and scribbled on were it physical. something that, were it something you found in a bookstore, you'd rate 5stars on goodreads and recommend to all friends and family. and you will still look in the author's note and they'll be like "please stop being mean in the comments :/ i'm well aware i'm nowhere near the level of an author and that my prose is pathetic :/"

sorry for the amount of hannibal posting im doing btw but rn im thinkin about how i was like 'ohhh i cant write will graham hes too smart for me :(' a couple years ago and you know. i can write will graham, sorta. but the only way i could write hannibal himself is if he was both drugged and on the verge of death

oh motherfucker i just read over 600000 words of a fic series and it’s sooo good but because it’s a ‘met when they were younger’ fic it’s not at all explicit. which is GOOD and i’m deeply greatful but the author plans to continue the series until their adulthood. and so i finished it up to where it is now and i was like WHOOH that was good! let’s see what else they have :) and it was all. it was all d/s fics. which you know, to each their own, but they’re opposite my own hc. falling to my knees in a walmart because i knowwwww when they continue onto adulthood it will be like, half plot half kink which will be impossible to skip thru

jesus goddamn christ i downloaded an ao3 extension like a week ago bc. idk actually. fun ig. and it worked perfectly fine, or so i THOUGHT, except just now i went into my history to check something and it turns out that it has logged EVERY SINGLE FIC from EVERY SINGLE PAGE ive been on as read. i had an actual heart attack because i was scrolling wondering what the fuck happened. did someone hack my history and read the weirdest shit in the world???? literally bonechilling it was shit i would never in my goddamn life read. thank god it didnt leave kudos or else i wouldve simply passed away. im never trusting an ao3 extension again
