How to cook rice in a pot.
This post is for people who don't have a rice cooker.
It is also useful for camping or for emergencies. You can cook rice faster than cooking with a rice cooker.
Ingredients
・Rice 500g
・Water about 1.2-1.5 times the amount of rice (1.2 times for white rice-1.5 times for brown rice)
1. Wash the rice. Add rice and water to a pan, cover it with a lid, and boil over high heat.
2. After boiling, reduce to very low heat and cook for a further 15 minutes.
3. Turn off the heat and allow it to steam for approx.10 minutes.

Desperate Housewives: Summary S01E12 Every Day a Little Death
Mrs Huber’s corpse was found in the forest.
Gabrielle was glad that her husband was released. However, not only could he not work but he also could not go more than 100 feet from the house due to an electronic tag. Therefore, she had no choice but to continue working. Carlos, who wanted a child, replaced her birth control pills with placebos.
Susan heard from Felicia that her sister, Mrs Huber, had a journal. Since Susan was worried that the police might find out she set fire to Edie’s house, she decided to go along with Edie to spread Mrs Huber’s ashes in order to come clean about her sin.
George gave Bree this antique gun he got from his grandfather as a gift. The two were about to shoot the gun for fun, but Bree accidentally shot George’s toes as she tried to escape from George's kiss.
Lynette went to yoga class to relax but gave it up because the class was already full again. However, luckily, the receptionist mistakenly thought that Parker was suffering from blood cancer because of his bald head and allowed her to take a yoga lesson.

Desperate Housewives: Summary S01E11 Move On
When Eddie was looking for Mrs Huber’s whereabouts, her sister Felicia comes to Wisteria Lane in order to figure out what happened to her sister.
Bree decides to take care of Rex at home, who had a heart attack, as her kids requested. However, she went out with George who was her pharmacist, in order to get back at Rex.
Gabrielle decided to work because her joint bank account was frozen. However, she was disappointed that the salary was lower than her previous one. Moreover, she was about to be seen by Mr and Mrs Scavo, working in the shopping mall as a campaign model. She didn’t want anyone to know they had financial problems. Therefore she reluctantly took out her husband's passport from the fireplace and submitted it to the lawyer in order to re-activate their account.
Tom accidentally found Claire naked downstairs at midnight. Since Lynette hinted that Tom was interested in the nanny, she immediately fired Clair in order to prevent Tom from having affair with Claire.
When Karl broke up with his girlfriend, Brandy, he came over to Susan’s place. Susan invited Carl to Julie's birthday party because she felt sorry for him.
Paul secretly hid pieces of Mrs Huber’s jewellery with her blood stains in Mike's garage in order to incriminate Mike. Soon after, her corpse was finally discovered in the forest.

Macy Gibbon often invited men to her house to prostitute in the afternoon. One of her loyal customers was Rex, who has a heart attack while Macy was working on him. For the first time, Bree was shocked to learn that her husband has a S&M preference and had an affair with one of her mum’s friends.
Solis's property began to be seized. Since Gabrielle knew it wasn't easy for them to get them back, she decided to carry the household items and place them in Bree’s garage. Carlos told Gabrielle, who didn’t want to lose their assets, to give only his passport to his lawyer. But she burned it with his suspicious documents.
Lynette’s children were completely attached to their sitter, Claire, as Claire did a great job. So she felt like Claire had taken over her role. In order to find fault with Claire, she used a hidden camera to take a video of Claire working.
Susan created a romantic atmosphere before Mike arrived because she had her eyes on him. However, since Zach, who Julie was harboring in her room, made a noise, Susan accidentally hit Mike by mistake as she thought a thief was breaking into her house. Then they return Zach to his father, Paul.

According to her boyfriend, they are planning to play board games that Friday night. However, when the game reaches the climax, his mother, who rules the roost there, gets furious because she is losing. Because that spoils the game and poisons the atmosphere, Liz wants to go home, but her boyfriend begs her to stay there.
Eventually, his mother asks Liz what Liz thinks of her, and without hesitation she openly says that she is a terrible person. Contrary to her expectation, his mother confesses that the event so far was kind of a joke. Liz goes home in anger.
Moreover, the ending revealed that Liz had cheated on him and that he had asked his parents to play along to scare her. The purpose of this was to break up with her.

Logan moves to a new home and starts a new job at the advertisement agency. Then, he met his girlfriend at their workplace. They began an office romance that proceeded throughout the film which consisted of a lot of ads. And they had lived happily until a piano-related tragedy "crushed" it/put an end to it.
The story is not unique and it's simple. It is different from other films because it is presented through advertisements related to general consumer products and services such as mobile carriers, snacks, ice-cream, alcohol, pet supplies, house care products and moving, etc. It is a shrewdly crafted commercial trick in a humorous and refreshing way. Moreover, it is noticeable that the products themselves are telling a story through a series/chain of weird events.

Since Gabrielle heard that there was a shortage of nurses at the hospital where Mama Solis was hospitalized because she was in a coma. She planed a charity fashion show with her neighbours for more nursing staff. Residents on Wisteria Lane were willing to help her out as models.
While preparing for the show, Susan witnessed John and Gabrielle playing footsie under the table by chance. However, John's mother Helen misunderstood that her son had an affair with Susan. Because she also witnessed him and Susan talking at Susan's house.
Bree discovered that Andrew, who caused such a big car accident, smoked marijuana without any sign of remorse. Although Bree asked Rex to examine their son’s urine at his work place, Rex didn’t do it. So she snitched on Andrew.
Lynette went to the park in order to get an excellent sitter. She luckily found a perfect sitter named Claire. She tried to headhunt Claire who was not being treated well by her current boss.

Desperate Housewives: Summary S01E08 Guilty
Bree, in cooperation with Rex, deliberately plan to drop off the car that caused the accident in order to protect Andrew. They try to let a car burglar steal it in the bad part of the city.
Susan finds a lot of money and a gun hidden in a cupboard at Mike’s home. Because she was really worried, she took out the money and tried to count it, and while doing so, she stepped on the rotten part of the floor and got stuck there so she had to wait for Mike to come back.
Lynette tries to cut off the medicine, but she can't sleep at all. When she took herbal medicines she tried to sleep and dozed off, Mary Alice showed in her dream and gave her a gun.
John comes to visit while Gabriel and Carlos are in the hospital with Mama Solis who was still in a coma. And he goes with Carlos to the church. Later, John tells Gabriel that he came clean to the pastor about what he has done with Gabrielle since he felt so guilty. It made Gabby puzzled.
Paul thought Edie was the criminal because Blackmail's paper was the same as Edie had. So the detective asks her whether she stole the paper from Martha. Contrary to their expectation, the person who made Mary Alice kill herself was Martha.

Finally, Susan is about to go out on a/her first date with Mike, but since a lady called Kendra comes to his place, the date is canceled at the last minute. Although Mike explains to Susan that they are just friends, Susan still suspects that Kendra is his ex or girlfriend. So she and Edie are following Mike and Kendra in secret. In fact, Kendra's father is Mike's employer, hiring Mike to find Kendra's older sister who has been missing for a long time.
Lynette is kind of addicted to medicine for ADHD and even steals the medicine of her friend’s child in order to get energy. When Tom invites his boss and co-workers to the dinner meeting, Lynette’s fresh idea attracts everyone present. That makes Tom feel frustrated.
Gabrielle and John cannot easily meet due to Mama Solis’ observation, so John begins to hang out with Bree's daughter Danielle. As Gabrielle is jealous of Danielle, she tries to introduce Danielle, who has a dream of becoming a model, to the modeling school in New York in order to separate them. Gabrielle's recommendation makes Bree furious.

Susan found Zach's whereabouts at a recuperation facility in order to explore Mary Alice's suicide mystery. She had Julie sneak into the facility and tried to get out the truth from Zach. Finally, Zach told Julie about the girl named Dana.
Gabrielle couldn’t even meet with John alone because of her mather in law, Mama Solis. After hearing about Mama Solis’ gambling problem from Carlos, she succeeded in spending time with John in her clever way.
Although Bree heard the suggestion about the nightlife with Rex during marriage counselling, it made things worse because she disagreed with the idea, then she went home in anger.

Desperate Housewives: Summary S01E05 Come in, Stranger
There was a break-in incident in Wisteria Lane. Because the house where Susan was pet sitting was broken into, the residents invited a police officer to their community meeting to protect them from future break-ins. After Susan asked the police officer to get a fingerprint off the screwdriver which the criminal left there, he asked her out on a date.
While Bree's children were at camp, she was home alone, so she invited Zach for dinner to try to find out the reasons for Mary Alice's suicide. However, when he started confessing to something bad, he panicked and Bree failed to get the most important information she wanted. The next day, Bree invited him to a Christmas-style dinner, but she suddenly cancelled their plan because of a date with Rex. Because of this Zach broke into her house and decorated her living room with his family's Christmas ornaments.
In order to get the twins into the new school, Lynette got a reference from Bree. She made the twins play outside a lot in order to keep the twins quiet during the interview.
Carlos invited his mother Juanita without his wife's permission because he wanted her to find out who Gabrielle was cheating with.
Mike was talking to a mysterious older man in the park. Mike appeared to be a trespasser looking for something.
Susan took a chance and told Mike about her date with the police officer, but Mike's indifference was disappointing to Susan. Susan reluctantly accepts a date with the persistent policeman after Mike gave her the cold shoulder.
