An Update

Hello to anyone who follows this account.

I started this blog in January with an interest in in the conservative/tradfem community that existed long before the time of me creating this tumblr. For many many months, I not only loved the aesthetic of the tradfem community, but also its core values. I still believe that these values are good and wholesome, and in this I am not trying to bash the tradfem community.

Simply put, I cannot continue this blog with its core values of traditional feminity, Catholic, and conservative values, because I believe some of the more radical beliefs from all three of these topics have come to not be beneficial to my outlook on life or mental health. I cannot continue this blog or the content I have saved from this blog in good peace of mind. The labels that I have given myself and fought for in the past now need some deep introspection.

So to all the 400 (wow!) people that follow my tumblr, I am will be deleting this account in the upcoming few days. To all the great people I've met here, thank you for being such wonderful humans.

some truths about our Heavenly Father to encourage you, brothers & sisters:

God is always faithful to us. His love for us never changes & is steadfast. 

God is our Provider. as He clothes the lilies & feeds the sparrows, so He will provide for you. trust He will give you what you need. 

God keeps His promises. He stays true to His word. when everything in this world passes away, we have a hope that is firm in Him. 

even when we can’t find the words to pray, God hears our heart & cries. prayer changes us. He just wants you to come as you are to Him. not just what you bring or offer, but you - His beloved child. 

even when we make mistakes or choose things over God, He does not keep a record of wrongs. 

God is our Peacemaker. in the bible, God commands us to not worry or be anxious. trust in His plan for you even in the storm & chaos.

to those who feel alone, depressed, or hopeless during these social distancing times—i just want to remind you that you are loved by a God who loved you first. before you even knew what love was, God loved you and still does. before you even made your very first friend, God called you friend. before your parents laid their very first eyes on you when you were born, God looked at you and called you His. before you longed for any kind of relationship, God longed for a relationship with you. before you took your very first steps, God walked with you. before you even knew what life was, God breathed life into you. before you even began living out your purpose, God looked at the world and created you. it’s always been about you, from the very beginning.

so friend, you are not alone, you never were, and you never will be. Gods love will always be with you. He’s alive even in these quiet, loud, and uncertain times. He’s with you just like before and He will be with you now and forevermore.

If I have to hear one more person using the argument of "sex before marriage is like test driving a car, you have to know what you're getting into!" my eyes will physically role so far back into my head they won't come back
