Looking back at Grey prince. Jesus Christ it was not hard for Michael to get Psylocke to join the team.

Psylocke was always down for a fight. 90's comics tried to act like Psylocke's more "aggressive" nature was because of Kwannon, but no, Betsy was the one suggesting that they kill Havok back when he stumbled across the X-Men in hiding. So it's totally believable to me that she'd join just for the chance to fight Spiral.
