We had a patient last night who was a textbook case of electrolytes imbalance as a result of nausea and vomiting. And I didn’t say this to the patient because I didn’t think they’d appreciate it, but it’s kinda great when the way you are so so sick is like exactly like the textbooks say it’ll be. Like not good that you’re having sudden new onset muscle weakness and tingling, but buddy this is gonna get sorted out with an efficiency you won’t believe. We fixed like 85% of the stuff wrong with this patient by midnight and we marveled the whole time about how this patient was seemingly concocted in a lab so I could walk my trainee through a highly manageable crisis

#listen if I had a treatable and not too terrible illness #and the doctor was like ‘oh nice. this is 100% textbook.’ #I’d be pretty stoked about that at least #it’s like that meme of getting a good grade in therapy.

I have a question: who are your top five favourite supercorp fic writers? (And if you don’t mind, please recommend your favourite fic by them)

I’m looking to find new fics to read. I like the shorter ficlets mostly with angst and feelings and fluff. Also smut.

I feel like you’re one of the people who would be in the know here lol

Ok first off anon, I am honored that you like my blog and that you trust me with this question!

Secondly, you're going to cause me a crisis because it's like having to choose a favorite pet (who is sentient and provides me with wonderful fic FOR FREE!!). I can do some angst if I know there's a happy ending but I don't tend to seek those out and I have a tendency to like longer fics but I read any length really as long as it's not a 100 word drabble lol but I'm gonna try to find some that'll work for you. These are in no specific order.

It's delicious, you'll get the feels. And for some smut, you'd enjoy their fic Patience, Darling.

Synthesis by @fazedlight

All about the evolution of Lena's relationship with Kara and Supergirl starting around season 2 and skipping the villain era. It's interesting and introspective and FazedLight has a ton of incredible fics.

Venturing into smutty we have breathing is easier under water (i can see sky from here) by @littlemousejelly

Soft, sweet, and hot. I love everything about this fic. Also among my favorites are 'cause i'm in love (i'm in love) and our house (in the middle of our street) aka the spitroast fic.

Ad Space by @bigmammallama5

One of the fics that lives rent free in my head. BigMammaLlama has a ton of really great fics (smutty and not and a couple really great Kara/Lena/Jack ones). Also highly recommend Practice Makes Perfect.

Having trouble settling on a 5th one so I'm going to leave you with a recent bookmark Lover's Gambit by PaperHatsandPaperBoats (unsure if they have a tumblr)

It's longer than I'm sure you'd prefer but it truly has it all and I loved it. I'm currently reading their other supercorp fic as well.
