Can’t make a fem!Phoenix without a fem!Edgeworth, because no matter what gender this prosecutor is, she isn’t allowed to even slightly come off as straight

She is babey, and I’m absolutely convinced that she still wore a bow tie every day to school and never learned how to tie it so her dad had to every morning. It’s also important to note that this is the most saturated her hair gets, from dl6 on it gets lighter and less brown.

A lot of my bratworth design is based on the unimplemented design for PLvsPW, and I made sure to have some hellfire imagery to poke at the demon part of her reputation. This is the shortest her hair gets to represent Von Karmas control over her, after this era she keeps it longer and after the 7yg she keeps it loose to symbolize her freedom from mvk and how she slowly got more comfortable with herself so she doesn’t have to focus on controlling every part of her appearance.

Yes, Trilogy Edgeworth and Trilogy Phoenix have matching knight earrings leave me alone.

She also gets a little embroidered sunflower/defense attorney badge in this era. It’s meant to resemble the sun and represents Phoenix’s reentry into her life and her relationship with her father before she lets go a bit and leans into the whole chief prosecutor thing.

All I have to say is that her earpiece is 100% Phoenix themed

It was very important to me that she dressed so similarly to her canon version because she just gives off those vibes, maybe she wears a skirt and black tights and high heels that could puncture a bitch but that suit jacket is so mandatory. The day you see any form of this guy in something that’s not formal wear is the day she dies. She buttons up her shirt to the very top when she’s at the beach. You will never see the skin on her legs if she can help it. She only wishes she could pull off a hat so when she goes outside once a year she won’t get completely sunburnt.

It’s also important to note that I drew her facing her right and Phoenix facing her left so they would be mirroring each other because they are gay, now I just need someone to use these as icons so I can have an Edgeworth to my Phoenix 💔

Apollo but with more sun god symbolism because he deserves it

Slight close up, I love the hc that he got scars from the courtroom bombing and that his eyes get a little red when perceiving. I also legally couldn’t make his hair too short and gelled back I can’t do that to the little rat man, making his horns look normal in my style was hard enough, I wasn’t made to draw anime men. Also his clothes/colors are partially based on concept art of Dhurke and I really wanted to add the blues from Clays jacket.

Maybe it’s also a thematic reference to Phoenix too idk I think beyond canon they get along more bc within canon so much shit is happening constantly that they’re set up to be at odds more often. He accepts getting found familied eventually…

SUN SYMBOLISM! Like the other members of the WAA, he’s got that celestial bodies swag. Also I made that one doodle of the sun and liked it so much that I had to put it everywhere. Originally his earrings had a design that both mimicked the scales of Justice and upside down riding suns but I realized they already did that kind of thing in AAI so I did what I did best and mindlessly doodled. Also this version mimics how Athena’s moon earrings turned out so I’m not mad lol.

Yes, the guy on her choker is Barok van Zeiks, you cannot tell me that there’s no connection between him and the von Karma’s even if it’s just narratively. Even if there’s no family relations I can see Franziska learning about him in some European law textbook and idealizing him a little.

Also the lightning storm imagery is partially based on her teardrop shaped earring that she has canonically and that one official art where that’s the imagery Phoenix gives to her when thinking about her as a scary American woman. Those and I just think the vibe is neat. Crack of thunder, crack of a whip, her intimidation factor being based on loud sounds (mostly)

Different colors and a slightly better view of the lace design which is a mix of the prosecutors badge in the main games and the prosecutors emblem from tgaa, mostly just a doodle though.

I also have a few concepts of the bullet scar glowing a bit but it’s small enough that it looked kinda weird lol.

Btw her mask is based off of the dark version of phoenix from pl vs pw because I’m so mad that they’ve never canonically met. They’re both named after mythical birds, he’s super into that whole thing of finding the most powerful people and revealing the truth about corruption and she’d appreciate that. They should both go into crime after he gets disbarred. She’d make a wonderful sister for Trucy. Their colors are the same, red-pink and blue and their quirky special abilities are both bright green and they both live to annoy Edgeworth.

I also wanted her mask to be very Robin-y, especially since her outfit is still pretty colorful and sparkly despite the whole sneaky thief thing she’s got going on. I also think it’s funny to base her off of another acrobatic vigilante who is named after a bird.

Little thief’s display gets transferred into her masks visor bc I thought that would be cool. It also gives me a reason to add a little green glow to her eyes.

Anyway I’m writing a fic where I can fuck around with the dark age of the law and get Kay and Phoenix (and Ema) to team up because the law system is so messed up and cops suck so the best way to get justice is through crime. Idk I just have a lot of thoughts about what the world was like at that time and I think that Kay and Phoenix would be hilarious as a duo. Without Edgeworth there to display Common Sense™️ they can get info the most insane situations. Its great.

I stared at Feenie’s pitiful puppy eyes sprite for like a half hour for this, I just wanted you guys to know that. I couldn’t decide on whether I wanted to draw her bleeding or include the necklace because logically they can’t be there at the same time but I did it anyway because I wanted to. Also I wanted her to be splattered with paint where in later iterations she’d have scars.

Sunflower/defense attorney badge inspired earring, and bleeding heart necklace. I didn’t feel like going easy on the symbolism on this one lol.

Closeup of Rookie!Phoenixes gay little earring, I love putting too much detail into things that end up being way too small to appreciate. Obviously it’s an Edgeworth reference, and a reference to that one DD concept art where he has a little blue knight on his tie and I thought this is her era of getting really into being a knight in shining armor for everyone ever.

All the earrings/jewelry correspond to the people she’s closest to at the time, or at least most devoted to. Feenie: Mia and Dahlia, Rookie: Edgeworth (the sketch had the chess piece replaced with a large bead which is for Maya/Pearls), Beanix: Trucy, and MILFeen: the WAA (the star in the celestial trio alongside Athena’s moon and Apollo’s Sun)

Another note about the main trilogy Fem!Phoenix design is that I included temporary marks from Franziska’s whip rather than the burn scars from the bridge which are included in the later versions. Also the scars from being bashed in the head bc i felt like that wouldn’t just disappear, and I wanted to focus this design on JFA.

More about the scars, specifically her lip scars, I wanted to give her a darker lipstick that she uses to draw away the attention from the necklace chomping scars but during the 7yg she kind of gives up on hiding them. I also wanted to make sure there’s a dramatic change between Beanix and MILFeen, Edgeworth bullied her into having a decent skincare routine.

Speaking of Edgeworth, she’s here, having homosexual feelings in the background. As usual. The fun thing about Narumisu is that they almost exclusively refer to each other by their last names so it doesn’t matter if they have different first names for a gender swap, they will always be ‘Prosecutor Edgeworth’ and ‘Defense Attorney Wright’

I really wanted to switch the lengths of her waistcoat and her suitcoat bc I kinda hate how it looks, she deserves a long flowy overcoat with a short waistcoat. And also pants with a bright belt bc I thought she needed more blue.

It drove me a little crazy that she has two neck things right on top of each other when they could just be one thing. So I fixed that. Also I wanted her earring to have a glasslike container within the moon, to contain the actual moon rock. Also I thought it would look neat.

Also you probably can’t tell but she’s got shaved sides for some extra queer vibes. her hair doesn’t make any sense and I’m saying that about a universe where Phoenix Wright exists…

Feenie is based on the blue jay but with more emo coloring bc when researching birds I could not avoid how perfect the symbolism is. Not to mention the perfectly shaped hair and the iconic Blue.

I wrote down a whole list of the associations these bitches have that vibe with Phoenix specifically that include but are not limited to, optimism, protectiveness, courage, family, good luck, adaptability, love, survival, honesty, determination, loyalty, hope, and also, funnily enough, lawyers. Even the negative connotations are like ‘cunning tendencies’ and ‘trickster spirit’. They are also Loud.

Also apparently when you dream of a blue jay it means that someone close to you is trying to deceive you and like… come on man, how could I not. There’s also apparently some kind of fable about a jay being wrongly accused by other birds and being defended by a lone cuckoo who proved his innocence and at this point I think that Phoenix was actually based on all the blue jay lore.

I also think that the concept of a phoenix that resembles blue flame looks pretty sick so that’s also important to note about his design.

Chilling out on the lighting effects but I also wanted to talk about Her. I wanted her cape to resemble wings and also include the pink/red of her baby design. I also wanted to give her some tights bc I thought they would look cool. Most of her design is pretty unchanged save for her hair being longer bc I wanted to depict her as a little older. Also she’s not white. I got tired of looking through all the references and seeing everyone being so pale lmao.

Lie detector mode activated, I just think it would be neat if people could tell when he can see people’s lies, make him a little unsettling, just for funsies

Idk I’m just real proud of the magatama and its lighting, also I gave him burn scars from The Bridge, there’s just no way he came out of that with just a cold.

Bisexual color scheme let’s go, when Mia adopts him as her little brother he gets one of her magatamas to symbolize his connection to the Fey family. Also bc it confused me as to why she’s depicted with two different colored ones, so she has a spare that she hands off to Phoenix lol.

Close ups bc I wanted to talk some more, firstly the symbolism of the star earring, so the WAA has their own obvious celestial thing going on, Sun- Apollo, Moon- Athena, and so I decided that the Stars- the Wrights. I like leaning into the idea that both him and Trucy are at their core, performers. There’s also the association of luck and wishes that come with shooting stars that I think vibes with him idk.

Also I gave him sectoral heterochromia in the shape of the magatama so it can glow when he uses it and it just looks cool man

One more thing, his hair. I like the idea that when he ate the necklace he didn’t just get scars on his lips from crunching the glass as frantically as he could manage, but the poison left behind bleached his hair and fucked him up a little more than what’s in the games. Also it looks kinda cool. I love permanent effects (physical or otherwise) of traumatic experiences!

Another magatama color but I also wanted to talk about his clothes, the buttons are based off of the sparkle in the ace attorney logo and the buttons on Ryunosuke’s clothes in TGAA

And bc I like connecting characters to each other, the diamond pattern is obvious Trucy coded. I also like the idea that his waistcoat is something of a mix between a corset, a back brace, and a bullet proof vest. I think that would be nice for him. That didn’t do much to change its design I just thought about it.

You guys ever make up an oc based completely on a random lore theory? Uh anyway this is Gravine Yuzuki, Sheikah descendant of the (formerly) Zonai Naydra and origin of the Cryonis rune and keeper of the secret stone of ice. She’s also pretty decent with a bow.

Secret stone!!! I made up the symbol on it since the others are apparently based on Japanese kanji, so I used the character for ‘Ice’ to make the symbol. I just had to add an eye to it lol.

Less light effects and a slight color change to the top, maybe it makes all the details look more clear idk…

Post totk Lu Wild concept where he comes back to the group six years later with one less arm, a magic rock, and even more patches added to his champions tunic. Also I wanted to add concepts for what the light bow and arrow would look like when made with parts from the light dragon, since light arrows are infinite and appear in the bow when it’s being drawn, so that would make it easier for a single armed Wild to still participate in archery, he just has to use his teeth to draw it back.

Someone had to inherit Mineru’s secret stone, and we all know how I’m a fan of giving it to Link. Also I hate the way the batteries are clumped together in the game so I changed it. The flames are based on poes and the other beaded waist part is made of dragon parts, they have a minor healing effect.

The bottom of Wilds tunic embroidery is based on the astral observatory and the master sword room in the master sword trials, where all around the room there are landmarks from Hyrule pointing where they are on the map. So I wanted to have the post totk floating Hyrule castle as the main thing, mostly because it looks cool and bc I wanted Wilds perspective to be from the great plateau kinda. Anyway I worked hard to make it recognizable lmao.

One more thing I want to bring up is the new golden sleeve(s), the one(s) that Ganondorf burned off, replaced by fabric made of the light dragons hair. I just thought it would be neat and I feel like she would shed after not having her hair brushed in thousands of years. It glows in the dark and helps with the pain management in his amputated arm.

Edit: I forgot to mention but the placement of the secret stone is also something I thought about. I realized that since the other members of the triforce had their secret stones aligned with the center of their body (forehead, chest) I figured that it would make sense for Link to have his following the same rule. So I decided on his belt. Otherwise, it would've been lower on his chest, maybe where the triforce would be on his master sword embroidery but I didn't want to crowd the space too much and I really wanted to doodle that part to my heart's content lmao. The belt just seemed a little bare so it made sense to me lol.
