Fresh off the drawing table, a water colored pencil and ink drawing of a dream I had during the night to 26 August 2022. I was standing in front of a parked bus, singing Beyoncé's Single Ladies. The bus driver was looking at me. I've had several dreams about being on a bus. Supposedly that means you are on your way to a goal in your life, so the bus' destination is "Dit mål" (Danish for "your goal") and its number is 24 for Christmas Eve.

Once again, we had two models at Portrait Drawing art class. This time we did two forty minute studies. For the first one, I wasn't seated favorably but tried to make the best of it. The teacher liked it, but I thought the faces should've been bigger/closer. Oh well. For the second study, I got a better view of the models and this one turned out much better with bigger faces. The mood between the characters kinda reads "divorce" though, LOL.

First, a 20-minute warm-up drawing in oil chalk colors from Portrait Drawing art class. Then, two 40 minute studies in watercolor. When my teacher saw those, she expressed that my art style had developed noticeably since the class started seven months ago - I'm much better at drawing now. And I, of course, thanked her for her guidance and helpful tips during the process. Then I looked at some of the other pupils' work and said: "I've still got ways to go," LOL.

The night to 21 December 2022, Danish X Factor judge Thomas Blachman appeared to me in a dream, talking about women who still looked as good as when they were young - like Apollonia who was hot in the 80s. Then he asked me if there was anyone I wanted. I dared not answer honestly because I suspected it was the devil in a disguise he thought I'd find appealing, offering a deal and before I know it, I'd have to sign a contract and what have we. So... Yeah, I've started making drawings of dreams I've had.

We had two models in Portrait Drawing art class this week. We got twenty minutes to make a drawing of each and then 40 minutes to make a drawing of both of them together. Some of my classmates thought the pair looked like an 80s Brit-pop band in the last drawing. Yeah, the man's eyes are a little heavy on the eyeliner.

While waiting for replies from the publishing houses I submitted my Jesus Crisis! and Mission: Impossible? drawn musicals to, I felt compelled to draw some more diary style song drawings. And the quality of the drawings just keep improving if I must say so myself with this one being the first drawn/painted in water colors.

This week in Portrait Drawing art class we had the same model as the last time, but this time she wore glasses for variation. Instead of thinking "make a pretty picture", I went for experimentation, trying to paint more than draw by adding skin color to the face. The first drawing was done in oil chalk colors and the other two in watercolors. I think the second drawing which is more drawing than painting turned out the best. In the last painting she looks like an old woman. Oh well... It's all a learning process.

My latest water color works from Portrait Drawing art class. I think they turned out as a nice mixture of drawing and painting. In the second drawing, the model looks like she's watching a Hitchcock movie, LOL.

I felt like putting to use what I've learned so far in Portrait Drawing art class by drawing this portrait of my idol when I was a teenager, Harrison Ford of Star Wars and Indiana Jones fame, using brushes and watercolors.

My teacher at Portrait Drawing art class told me to stop drawing and start painting when I was doing the first drawing in oil chalk colors. So I did in the second 40 minute A2 watercolor study, and I felt I was experimenting, but my teacher told me it was a damn good experiment. By the third painting, she said "now things are starting to happen!" and I was practically beaming with pride. The last two were also done in A2 and in just 20 minutes each.

A 10-minute warm-up sketch and two 40 minute studies from Portrait Drawing art class. Some in my class thought the model looked like John Travolta in the second drawing, others thought he looked like a young Arnold Schwarzenegger. I think he kinda does look like a terminator in the third drawing. LOL. Anyway, everyone were really impressed by how I drew his hair.

Not every song drawing I made got included in the final edition of my drawn musical Jesus Crisis! / Mission: Impossible? Here's a couple of outtakes for you to enjoy.

The test prints of my drawn musical are now done and ready to be sent out to publishing houses. Hopefully someone will want to publish it. Jesus Crisis! is the first chapter with Mission: Impossible? being the second and Mission: Impossible? Act II the third. On the cover for Mission: Impossible? I'm saying "I wish I'll get a boyfriend." That's the mission. Wish me the best of luck.

I had great fun at the latest Portrait Drawing art class. We had the same model as on the drawings posted a few weeks ago, and one of my classmates drew him reminiscent of Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars. That in turn inspired me to draw him with a sun and planets in the background. Other pupils thought it was a hat, so it garnered a bit of discussion. That was fun. Anyway, these two A2 drawings were done in 40 minutes each.

Two new works from Portrait Drawing art class. Both are 40-minute studies - the first in oil chalk colors and the second in watercolors. The teacher noticed that instead of just drawing with brush and watercolors, now I was beginning to actually paint with the water colors.
