The Next Step in Sarah's Journey
Many of you have heard the news already but this is the first opportunity we have had to share with her beloved tumblr community that Sarah Bohannon passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2017. She has been so lifted up by those who connected with her as she walked her path with cancer. Thank you for being a part of the rich tapestry of her well-lived life. Japanese dolls
Yesterday I was stuck on couch with bad coughing fits. All I could do is sit quietly. So I worked almost all day on these little dolls. If you look closely, you can see beads & bell embellishments. Tallest is 8"; smallest is 4".

Happy Chinese New Year of the Rooster. There were so many wonderful designs to choose from. For this year's rooster, I chose a simple stylized shape. I particularly like the tail & and face. The tutorial was all in russian & I could not determine the designer's name. 1/30/17

Agave tree (Century Plant) In the Southwest, many folks use the stalk of an agave for a christmas tree. The seed pods dry intact and they are quite lovely even when not decorated. I like this much better than the traditional christmas tree as the ornaments hang freely and can be further enjoyed as they turn. When finished, this one will be returned to the Montessori School for sale next year. I'll probably get another one to work on. 12/21/16

Hard to get a good photo of my tree. But it sold right away and for over $500 for our local Montesori (sp?) School. Was ever so much fun and a bunch of my friends at the Unitarian Universalists purchased my tree to put up at the UU building. Made me proud and a little embarassed at the same time. 12/10/16
