If there's one traditional art investment that's worth every cent, it's pastelmat. That paper EATS your pastels and then some, allowing you to layer and even mix in ways inconceivable on any other paper I've tried so far.

I love how Spanish and Italian are 🔗🔗 80% of the time when it comes to vocabulary. However, I'll forever be salty about "Burro".

Spanish "Burro" = Donkey

Italian "Burro" = Butter

But

Butter in Spanish is "mantequilla" and donkey in Italian "asino".

What the fuck happened here?

My boss the other day: So, our Latin tutor is going to quit sooner or later and we can't find a suitable replacement so I thought...

She: Well, you're good with languages and you had Latin in school and you know two other romance languages so...

Could you just quickly teach yourself Latin? Pretty please?

Hey, thanks for the tag. Took me long enough but here goes:

Eggs: Omelette but sufficiently crunchy

Steak: The bloodier, the better

Milk: Cow’s milk though I do like almond milk too.

Alcohol:

Ah, now it gets interesting.

I like gin but not all brands. I’m not convinced by tanqueray, for example. I’m far from a connoisseur, though. Other than gin I LOVE Teranino (Croatian wine liquor), Vecchio Amaro del Capo (Brown herbal liquor) and Friesengeist (clear spirit that's set on fire). In general, I almost exclusively drink “harder alcohol”; I don't like wine, beer and the like—Mariechen (a sweet sparkling wine from Austria) is the exception.

Warm drink: I’m a coffee junkie but I usually drink a pot of tea per day. So coffee and tea.

Thanks for tagging! Yeah, it took me 9 days to answer, could be worse... (I really like things like this, it's only lack of time, if I don't reply 😊)

Eggs: omelette... sort of. With little milk (so it isn't too runny) and lots of cheese! Also herbs, spices (just what I have at hand) and sometimes bacon\ham\sausage pieces.

Steak: medium would do for me, I guess. Not sure I had enough good steaks in my life... I'd have one, for sure!

Milk: 2% or 3,2 % cow milk. I like milk, yes! I also like flavored milk, ice cream and most dairy products.

Alcohol: vinho verde is love! That's Portuguese wine from a really rainy region of the same name. The grapes are usually picked when they are not quite ripe yet (or else they might get mouldy), so the wine is usually really fresh and sour, a bit sparkling. Im a huge fan of it.

Or anything close to it (like Mateus or some wines from Lisboa)

Also any other kind of more or less good sparkling wine, preferably pink, brut or demi-sec, but not (semi)sweet.

Or some good beer, I love IPA and dark strong ale.

Warm drink: Herbal or black tea.
