I’m thinking about this actually. The death of the Jedi as the visual death of peace and kindness—of bright warm wonder, I guess—in the galaxy. Both sides of the war left in the aftermath using the same destructive tactics, a rebellion built on bodies in the desperate dirty hope that something good will come of it. Those lingering hints of softness tucked shaking behind bared teeth and blood. And then there, quietly, comes a young man. Burdened with pain but not yet filthy with it. A Jedi, in a galaxy that’s forgotten what Jedi could mean. Kindness clasped within his palms and hope leaking from between his fingers like sunlight.

If I’m gonna have to see and then report over a dozen porn bots every day can they at least give me like a daily grinding quest for it like it’s an MMO. Can I get some gold and a mediocre loot drop

Helpful blogs
The amazing @maiseey, who not only makes astonishing art and write an amazing fic, she also responds to medical questions and gives all kinds of references for writing medic characters.
@writebetterstarwars, which seems to be inactive, but there are a bunch of references there.
@howtofightwrite The place to find out how to write a good fight scene.
@scriptmedic no longer active, but it has a great deal of useful information.
@scripttorture for your whump needs. Major trigger warning for all its content.
Writing in General (For those who don’t want to die like Stormtroopers)
SlickWrite: Completely free; online. Checks grammar, punctuation, flow, and writing style according to different settings (including fiction writing).
ProWritingAid: [RECOMMENDED] One of the most thorough online proofreader I’ve ever used. Although when using a free account gives extremely thorough feedback, it gives +20 different in-depth reports for only the first 500 words for free. However, you can earn a premium account license (for a year or for life) if you get 10 or 20 new users signing up for free; (if you wouldn’t mind doing so using the link above and help me earn mine, please). The settings allow you to check your writing according to your needs, from general to formal to creative. It has a bonus that you can check depending on the genre you’re writing. For example, in creative, you can choose romance or sci-fiction (there are 14 sub-genre in total). And they just add a new feature, which just like google docs, you can share a document, and people can view, comment or edit.
LanguageTool: [RECOMMENDED] Another excellent proofreader. It also has a word limit in free accounts, but if you use the add-on for Google Docs, it counts each page as a new document, so hitting the limit is nearly impossible. It helps you to rewrite a sentence, even if it doesn’t raise any flags; it’s very useful for when your sentence is grammatically correct, but it doesn’t feel quite right.
Grammarly, Hemingway Editor: No so great, but they do the basic job.

Got to having feelings about this again so sharing what’s still one of my favourite little observations/interpretations/headcanons about Cas and Scourge after they get together (excerpt from my fic Cover Your Crystal Eyes).
“Lead the way, Jedi.”
Jedi. Scourge says it so differently now - and that, as much as his affirmative answer, makes Cas’ chest ache with happiness.
Before the Alliance, before the Eternal Empire, back when missions and goals and allegiances had been nearly black and white, Scourge had wielded the word like another weapon. It was the verbal incarnation of his lightsaber, blazing scarlet against the greens and blues of the Jedi who surrounded him. It was a reminder, always, that he and Caspian were still on opposite sides, and Cas clearly on the lesser one.
Jedi. Scourge used it in the same way he would have said blind, or ignorant, or weak. Never going so far as to cut at Cas personally, but making it clear that Cas was merely the singular, flimsy exception to his otherwise scathing views of the Order. Jedi. He took what should have been a badge of honour, of pride, and twisted it into doubt and whispered questions of why.
But where before there had only been contempt, now there is affection. Endearment. Jedi. Scourge forms the word so tenderly each time he offers it. Even when his voice is raised and riled, wrestling with the feelings he’s not yet mastered, it always falls back when he says it - Jedi. No longer a barb, but a term of respect, an affirmation of Cas’ role in all that has been accomplished.

The character dynamic and tones of the Willow show feels like an old-school D&D nerd was asked to run a campaign for his niece's extremely queer friend group, so he whipped out his homebrew setting based on a relatively obscure 80's movie, roped in his old buddy, made him tone down the murder hobo against his will and then everybody unexpectedly started to have a lot of fun with it, even the girl who didn't really get it, made a cook as her character and therefore got more desperate story hooks thrown at her than a 2017 Roman Reigns feud.
Yes, that is a compliment.
