Do you think the Gods fill the empty seats at graduations? Are They present beside Their children at the earliest hours of dawn, easing them to wake pleasantly? Do They smile when we come home to greet our pets, or when we accomplish something? Tap Their feet or bob Their heads in rhythm with our favorite music? Do They rest Their hands upon our shoulders when we walk at the darkest hours of night, glaring at any spirit or being that wanders too close? Are They the voice, the feeling of willpower; the pursuit towards a better world that thrums within us? Sometimes, I really have to wonder what They do when we can’t see Them.
