Do you ever think about how when Yuuri finally met his hero, he ran away and hid himself repeatedly so that Victor wouldn’t see him for who he really was? But the real “flawed” Yuuri, drunk and shameless at the banquet, was who caught Victor’s attention in the first place.

Or do you think about how Victor didn’t think he could be loved without performing actions to earn it, so he kept giving and giving and giving of himself until there was nothing left to give? Only to offer a cute boy even MORE of himself, and to have Yuuri say, “No, I just want you to be Victor. You don’t have to do anything more than that.”

It occurred to me today that when Yuuri and Victor talked on the beach in Episode 4, they shook hands and “met” each other for the first time. They met as the real Victor and Yuuri, and those are the two people who fell in love.

I love YOI, you guys.
