as an apology for being lazy and not posting, here's one for now :)
Bucky: Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Steve, snorting at the cheesiness: Sure, go ahead.
Bucky: Thou art hot as fuck
Steve:
Steve: Fuck that was smooth

“May! May! The worst thing happened today!”
May looked up from the cookie dough that looked to be about 90% flour. “What is it?”
Peter groaned and shoved a form at her. “Tony did this. I know he did.”
May was quiet for a minute, reading, then smiled. “It says that the top three schools won this. He couldn’t’ve have decided that.”
“Yeah, well, it’s easier to blame him.”
“Tell me how that conversation goes, huh?” she pushed a loose hair out of her face, grinning.
“May! It’s not funny! Everyone’s gonna realize I work there! And,” he lowered his voice. “You know, my other job.”
“What’s so bad about knowing you work there?” May asked, forming crumbly little dough balls.
“Those need more butter, for sure. And I dunno, I just... never told anyone, you know? Even Ned and MJ don’t even know about Spiderman! What if they find out?”
“Well, I can’t promise anything about finding out about the ‘internship’-”
“-It kind of is, now.”
“Whatever. They might figure that out, but Tony’s not going to do anything that jeopardizes Spiderman.”
“I wouldn’t put it past him.” Peter muttered.
“He wouldn’t. Besides, you’ll probably only see him once or twice.”
“Bet that he leads tour.” Peter offered.
“20 bucks.”
Peter laughed. “Okay.”
“Okay. Leave those papers on the counter and I’ll get to them later. Feel weird getting permission for you second home?”
“Vacation home.” Peter countered. “And yes, very.”

The next day, Peter reluctantly walked up to Mr. Harrington and handed over the permission slips.
“Glad to hear you’re coming, Peter. Planning on educating those guys over there?”
Peter gave a light heh ("Good one, Mr. Harrington.”) and headed back to his seat.
“God, I can’t believe this is happening.” he whispered to Ned.
“Oh come on, we’re going to see all the tech, not your friends.” said Ned, unaware that his ‘friends’ were more like family.
"Maybe."
The extent of what Peter had told Ned and MJ was that someone at Stark Industries had been an exam scorer and was so impressed that it landed him an internship. Peter had met the Avengers on a couple occasions and yes, they were very nice. Occasionally doing work for Mr. Stark personally, Peter had high clearance at the company, working the labs and shops from Monday - Wednesday after school.
Technically, that last part was true (omitting the fact that he was working with Tony himself on highly confidenial and complicated tech), since Thursday - Saturday were his training days. Of course, he took breaks and spent time afterwards with the world’s strongest, most powerful and most badass individuals. No biggie.
It was Tuesday (with said field trip the coming Friday), and the school day passed with little excitement (”Go fuck yourself, Flash.”- MJ). The last bell rang and Peter grabbed his stuff and practically ran towards the waiting car. Happy raised an eyebrow as he slid in. “Didn’t see you yesterday.” He commented, glancing quickly over at the teen.
“Oh, yeah. I, uh...”
Silence.
“Yes?” Happy prodded.
“I just, um, need to talk to Tony. It’s no big deal, really.” He added quickly when Happy looked concerned. “Really.”
“Okay.” said Happy, a skeptic.
The rest of the half hour drive passed in semi-comfortable silence, and Peter thanked him as he hopped out by the entrance.
The familiar lobby was cool and quiet. “Hello, Peter. Glad to have have you back. What floor are you heading to today?” FRIDAY asked.
“Hey, FRIDAY! Um, I’m not sure yet.
Peter gave a welcoming nod to Angelo, one of the secretaries. The twenty six year old Filipino, who normally just gave a light smile, called out to him. “Peter! Hey, Pete!”
Peter walked over brightly. “Hey, Angelo. What’s up?”
“What school did you say you went to again, kid?”
“Uh... Midtown Tech? Why?”
“Ayy, boy! You’re on that robotics team, right?”
“Uh, yeah?”
“Well, it’s just my luck that I’m not working Friday, but I wanna hear all about it, yeah?”
Peter sighed. “Aw, man, don’t tell anyone I’m coming, ‘kay?” He pleaded. “Please?”
Angelo smirked, but then shook Peter’s shoulder. “Yeah, alright.”
“Thanks, man. You-”
FRIDAY interupted. “Hello, Peter. Boss is requesting your presence on Floor 86.”
“Alright, thanks Fri.”
Angelo raised his eyebrows. “Floor 86? I didn’t realize you were up there.”
Peter shrugged, trying to exit the situation as casually as possible. “Yeah, well, I’m, you know, just helping with a couple projects and stuff. Little stuff.”
“I wouldn’t call 86 ‘little’.”
Peter smiled lightly. “Yeah. Well, I gotta go, bro. Talk to you later?”
“Yeah, man, see ya.”
